9:13am
george let his eyes flutter open. the sunshine bled through his blinds, it was fucking bright. it made his eyes ache.
it was early, much earlier than he'd usually wake up, which would be around mid afternoon. then, he remembered last night. he had been shitfaced, and finally admitted to josh.hang on.
josh was his boyfriend.
holy fucking shit.george scrambled and flipped his body to face his bedside table, reaching for his phone as he pulled it out of the charging cable.
he was grinning the entire time.he couldn't believe it; years and years of loving his best friend, to finally have the feelings reciprocated. he had never felt this happy before. it was something george wasn't used to, things going so well.
george quickly snapped in his passcode and entered his messages, tapped on josh's chat and his heart fluttered.
in raw agony.
the messages weren't there.
the chat was gone, all the messages he thought he had sent were no longer a reality.
george felt like he couldn't breathe.it was a dream.
a fucking dream.george's heart ached, and he threw his phone on his bed somewhere. he couldn't bare it. the headache ringing in his head from his hang over rattled his skull, his eyes unfocused and hazy, he felt like his whole world had come to a stop.
but it felt so real, he said to himself in his head.
it all felt so real.george hissed through his teeth, and forced himself up out of his bed.
today was going to be rough.
