........It was a car. Rachel whispered go for the bush. Laura and tabby got behind the bush in an instant, but Rachel was trying to get down the steps as fast and quiet as she could. The car was getting closer and closer. Rachel made it in time before the car and the person or persons saw them.
" That was a close call" Laura said with the car still passing them.
" But what a rush" replied Rachel.
"Now can we leave, that was a police car" said Tabby in a panic to get back to the tent
"No" Rachel and Laura said simultaneously.
