The Hero Who Has Forgotten

The First Mission

<Peter's POV>

It has been two weeks since I have woken up with no memory. I have been getting small little images in my head of an apartment and a woman with long brown hair with glasses. She looks young but not too young. I wonder if it was a memory of my mother when I was little?

I want my memories back but again I don't. I don't want to remember the pain I caused my parents. Dr. Mengele said he couldn't do anything about it that I just need to wait. 

I was laying in my bed. My room was boring. it had no windows. it looked like a cell but with a steel door just without the bars. The walls were concrete so was the floor. There was a bed but it wasn't very comfortable but I don't sleep much anyways. There was also a dresser then a bathroom attached to the room. 

As I was looking up at the plain ceiling I heard my door open with Gavriil. Gavriil was the one who trained me. He was cold and never spoke much but he was a great trainer. He taught me how to control my powers and how to make them stronger. 

"Dr. Mengele has our first mission together let's go" After Gavriil said that he turned away and walked away. Yeah he doesn't say or do much. 

I walked to Dr. Mengele's office which looked like the standard office for a doctor. it wasn't anything special. Gavriil was standing right next to Dr. Mengele's desk. I came over to the desk and waited for Dr. Mengele to speak. These past two weeks Dr. Mengele became more of a uncle to me now. Him and Gavriil were the only people I could trust. They saved me and made me stronger. 

"Son I have your first mission ready." Dr. Mengele said taking me out of my trance but not looking at me but at his files on his desk.

I was excited to have my first mission more because I can actually get out of this building and get fresh air. Also it made me feel like Dr. Mengele is starting to think that I am ready. I am soooo ready for this mission!

"We will be stealing chemicals at a facility in Moldova and you are going to encounter the avengers but you will not kill them. You will just fight them then leave even if you have to leave the chemicals" Dr. Mengele said so seriously. He has to be joking.

"W-what? Why are we going to steal chemicals to just leave them and not kill the avengers? They are bad people!" I said getting furious but trying to stay calm because Dr. Mengele doesn't do well with attitude. 

"The Avengers think you are dead and if you want to get revenge, you want to scare them first. Now you are leaving in the morning. Do I make myself clear?" Dr. Mengele said that so cold and slowly it brought chills down my spine.

"Yes sir." I said. I turned around and left the room leaving Gavriil and Dr. Mengele.

When the door closed, I waited by the door for Gavriil for our next training session. I heard Gavriil and Dr. Mengele conversation through the door so I decided to listen to what they were saying by going closer to the door.

"I found the device. It's in that facility so when Peter is busy with distracting the avengers, I need you to grab the device and never let go of it and make sure you and Peter get out of there. I don't care how many we lose." I heard Dr. Mengele's voice. 

What is this device? Why does he want it so much he doesn't care to loose his own men? Well. if it means that I get my revenge I am fine loosing a couple weak soldiers. That's what Gavriil taught me. It doesn't matter how many things or people you need to sacrifice as long as you get the job done. I just hope this device helps me get a step closer to the Avengers.
