Invading Radiance

Chapter 10

"We are going to be touring around for a while so might as well. But, I also need something from you," eSs says while scooting the chair closer to him. Jack looks at eSs really confused.

"Why do you need something from me?" He asks curious as to what she needs but at the same time is a little worried. eSs laughs a little seeing Jack worried and confused.

"All I need help with is a prank for Clay since she beat me in Mario Kart." eSs clarifies for Jack. Jack is no longer worried but now he has to debate on what to do. Prank the girl he likes and get eSs to tell him everything about Clay or decline the offer and not help her. He realizes that the answer is right in front of him.

"Thank you for the offer eSs but I would much rather learn about Clay from Clay. I don't want to know something that she would rather me not know. I also feel like that would be invading her privacy and that is the last thing I want to do." He says knowing he made the right decision even though the offer was very tempting. He couldn't do that to Clay. He couldn't do that to anyone.

"Okay, your loss. But if you won't help me prank Clay will you help me prank everyone else?" She says with an idea in mind. She knows that if she were to prank Clay, that would mean revenge and Clay's revenge was brutal.

"What do you have in mind?" He asks now very interested. Pranking everyone got his attention very quickly.

"Well stupid Troom Troom posted this video on Instagram and it ended up in my explore feed and in the video, they put red dye in the shower faucet so then the water was bright red. I want to do it just for the initial shock of the red water. But in every single faucet in this house." She says. Jack smiles.

"I am so in." He says before standing up and walking out with eSs. Gem and Jonah were still outside. Daniel, Elle, and Corbyn were in Corbyn's room playing Fortnite. Zach and Moo were in Zach's room. Clay was nowhere to be seen. It is the perfect time for this. He runs down and opens a cabinet. They had a few tubes of red dye from a thing a very long time ago. He forgot what the dye was used for but it is red. He hands eSs one and he holds onto two. eSs shows him how to unscrew the regular faucets and where to put the dye. They then go into the downstairs shower and she shows him how to unscrew the shower faucet. Once she showed him he ran upstairs and went into the first bathroom. He then puts the dye in all of the faucets and even the toilet tank to make the toilet water red. He then goes to the second and last bathroom upstairs and does the same thing. He walks back downstairs and puts the tubes back as eSs walks in.

"Done." She says while putting the tube of dye back in the cabinet. They walk into the living room and sit down on the couch. All of a sudden Gem and Jonah walk in wrapped in towels and laughing. It was at this moment that Jack and eSs knew their prank would be revealed.

"Woah look who is wet." eSs says while smirking over at Gem knowing she has a crush on Jonah. Gem rolls her eyes at eSs before hitting her arm. Gem then follows Jonah upstairs. They were both going to shower. Jonah shows Gem the bathroom in the hallway and then he is going to use the bathroom in his room. Jack and eSs wait until they hear the water start.

"Gem starts the water when she is in the shower and she instantly puts shampoo in her hair so just wait. I only know this because we share a room and a bathroom. We have a weird bond." eSs says knowing it is going to be a minute. She then hears Gem shriek and Jack and her run up the stairs and everyone except Jonah. In comes Gem her hair dripping in bright red water and in a towel. Jonah walks out of his room with red dripping hair and in a towel. eSs and Jack start losing it and laugh.

"Who did this?!" Gem asks clearly not happy at all. Jonah doesn't look happy either. "This better not dye my hair. Also, this isn't funny." Gem says before walking back into the bathroom and closing the door pretty loudly.
