Screams pierced her ears making her wince whilst her hands slammed over them in protection, the stale stench of alcohol and smoke filled her nose and she felt sick. Her breathing began to thicken and pick up in pace as she scanned her brain for an escape route, she knew it was no good though tonight had only one conclusion... the dark walls began closing in on her and she ran at them and hit them screaming loudly, "Please no! Help me someone! Can anyone hear me?" She knew the screaming was hopeless and her throat was raw from all the screaming, and she screamed until her voice was barely visible. Accepting her fate she slumped down the wall which was still closing in and cried. "Please..."

I sat up in bed startled my eyes filled with tears and sweat pouring down my face, my hands shook vigorously and I took a deep breath in and out to calm down. "It was just a dream Nina, it wasn't real." Picking up my phone I noticed that there were several missed calls on there from Krystal - my best friend - dialling the number I listened to the ringer my pulse beginning to return to it's normal pace.

"Neeeeeen?"

"Yeah, you okay?"

"I can't make today, sorry babe. Brandon's asked me out again! He wants to sort things out and well... I um..."

"You love still love him?"

"Still? Uh, yeah something like that. He's a good shag was what I was going to say, anyway sorry Neen! Love ya!"

The ringer cut off and I let out a chuckle to myself, Krystal was fierce and the type of person I used to be. She protects me and if i'm completely honest, my life wouldn't be where it is right now if it weren't for her. Granted I do act as her desginated driver 99.9% of the time but she saved me from myself and now I'm who I want to be... well who I need to be.

After I'd gotten ready for today the realisation that I would be going out in London on my own hit me, could I do it? I'd counted the number of steps to the bus stop, 120, that was a lot... especially alone and I could only just handle that but, London? Alone? I opened the door and took a deep breath as I turned around to lock the door my head banged against the door and I closed my eyes enjoying the coldness on my forehead. "Don't be afraid Nina. You've changed, things have changed." Suddenly a horn beeped startling me from my daydream I turned around quickly to see a black cab appearing outside.

They stepped out of the taxi the one man was tall and large with dark skin and wearing a suit. My eyes widened in fear, who were they? A boy stood around him he looked stressed out and he ran his hands through his hair and sighed I was totally awe-struck before the fear hit me my hands fumbled to unlock the door quickly my breathing picking up, "Hey?" The authorative voice sounded out, I didn't turn around to look I just replied, "Can I help you?" My voice was shaky.

"We'd really appreciate some help, um, this is Luke Brooks from the Janoskians. The boys were mobbed at a meet and greet and we'd really be grateful for a place to use a phone to meet up with the rest of the band?"

A fucking band? Oh my, this doesn't happen to regular people! Granted I'd never heard of the Janoskians but wasn't this every 18 year old's fantasy? Every normal 18 year old's fantasy my subconcious echoed back you're not a normal 18 year old are you? You're a fuck up. I coughed and cleared my throat, "Come on in, I'll make us some tea."

"We're in Clapham Junction with a girl named Nina. Meet us back here in 10 minutes, i'll text you the route."

I heard the band members body guard on the phone in my living room as I stood face to face with Luke in my kitchen. His eyes burned through me... brown with a touch of green and so mesmorizing I could have looked at them forever. He had a lip ring in and the cheekiest grin on his face. "You brits think tea solves everything don't you?" He chuckled, Australian fucking Australian. Come on if his looks don't get you going the accent is bound to. Nina don't get any ideas though... you don't do people, right? I laughed back at him, "There's actually not much a cuppa can't solve you know. I'm Nina, how nice of you to um.."

"Yeah, thanks for letting me in. The fans get kind of crazy and fuck it sounds weird saying that. I feel like Justin Bieber."

"You're way hotter than Justin Bieber." Wait, what? What the fuck did you just say Nina? My face burned and I saw Luke blush slightly and grin... he was precious. The room went silent as we looked at eachother, his gaze intensely holding mine I tried my best to hold his for longer biting down on my bottom lipper to stop myself from breaking the stare but eventually couldn't look at him anymore, I couldn't belive I was allowing myself to feel such attraction to him.

"The boys are outside Luke. Time to go, thank you Miss." The security guard burst in breaking the moment I have to admit I was grateful. As the security guard walked outside Luke walked away before stopping and turning to me as he reached the kitchen door.

"Could I um, get your... um.. number?"

"No." I replied bluntly before turning to the sink.

"Why? Come on, I'm so much hotter than Bieber and I don't think he's gonna knock on your door soon." He said with a laugh in his voice, I didn't even need to look at him to know his eyes were gleaming.

"He's on his way actually." I replied my own face lighting up.

"Maybe I'll wait then..." It sounded more like an offer. One the old NIna would have jumped at - one problem - I wasn't the old Nina.

I felt hands on my shoulders and I took a sharp breath as his breath ran down my neck, memories flooded my head and tears pricked my eyes as I shoved him away. "Please don't touch me." I blinked before turning to him, "Give me your phone."

I left my number on his phone and watched him walk away, gazing out the window as he got into a car a sad smile painted on my face. As if I'd given him the real number... old Nina would have loved to... new Nina couldn't even bare to be touched.
