Things were getting troubling for Cole Cooper and Alexandria Edwards. Cops were parked out, in front of his house, speaking with Cole's mother. She was crying her eyes out, while explaining a situation that went down. As for Cole and Alexandria, they were out of sight, witnessing what was happening.
Cole: ......
Alexandria: Cole...?
Cole: ......
Alexandria: Cole...!
The call of Alexandria's voice had finally snapped him out of his mood.
Alexandria: ¿Estás bien?
Cole: Yeah...I'll be fine.
Alexandria: Cole...
Cole could see that Alexandria was conflicted about what happened. To comfort her, Cole placed his hands on her cheeks and looked into her eyes.
Cole: I'll be fine. Okay? Créeme. We did what we needed to protect you.
Alexandria: ......
Cole: I do not blame you for what happened. Lo entiendes?
Alexandria wanted to believe what her boyfriend said but she could not help feel bad for what she did. She held onto his hands and kept them close to her cheeks.
Cole: We'll get through this. You and me. Promise.
Trusting in his words, Alexandria nodded to Cole.
Cole: For now, let's just find someplace to lay low, for a while.
