Cold. Dark. Pain. Repeat. That's all he felt. All he could feel. Then, scream. Error was barely able to keep his eyes open when an loud horrified scream pierced the silence. Ink had woken up, and crawled against the wall to get away from the sight in front of him. He gagged and threw up. Error looked at Ink. Nightmare had beaten him, tortured him, but why not kill him? Just to make him suffer? Was that ALL that Nightmare wanted? Ink began to sob uncontrollably, throwing up ink every now and then. "E-e-err-or.." He sobbed. With his last bit of remaining strength, Error tried to move towards Ink. Nightmare had unchained Error because Error couldn't even blink properly due to his state. As Error tried to move to Ink, the door swung open, causing Error to stop dead in his tracks. "Trying to get to your hero glitch?" Nightmare teleported in front of Error. Error spoke for the first, because this time, he was...determined. "K!lL m3..p1e@s3.." And that was the last thing he said. Nightmare only grinned. He picked Error up by the neck. He didn't even struggle. "Giving up are we?" Nightmare glared. Ink screamed at Nightmare to stop, but Nightmare just loved the sound of the screams and cries. He threw Error against a wall, and that was all it took. Part of Error's skull shattered and he lay in a pile of blood and debris. And that was all it took for Ink to snap. He stood up, and began to walk forward. He was stopped by the chains, so he yanked at his arms. Soon, the bones started to tear. A loud crack, a scream, and that was that.
Ink charged at Nightmare, full speed. Then fully dodged him entirely by running running to the left. Towards his smaller hand hand held brushes. Taking all of his attention off Error, Nightmare went at Ink with tentacles. Ink was able to figure out his attack patterns after years of fighting in the past. Left. Right. Left. Left. A continuous pattern. As Nightmare was about to strike once more, Ink dodged the attack and ran the other way, zig zagging over and around boxes. Nightmare couldn't keep track of where the squid was going. Ink grabbed Error's shoulder, and teleported. Where? Not sure. All that Ink knew, was that he had gotten Error out of there.

|In Heaventale, 1 hour later|

Error was on the hospital bed. How had he survived...it ahould be impossible to survive all that! Then again, Ink was happy and relieved that it was possible. The doctors and nurses couldn't start the surgery until they knew every single injury. Ink watched through the window with such anxiety, fear, and worry. "Please...please come through Error...p-please." Ink had to turn away, he couldn't look at Error any longer. So then, Ink sat on the chair outside of the room. For hours, and hours on end. While he was waiting, a thought crossed his mind. If Ink was only there for one day, and he thought it was horrible..how did Error feel for the months he was there..? The thought made him sick. He ran over to a trash bin, and threw up. Though..there wasn't much TO throw up except black ink. He wiped his mouth clean, and sat back down. After a few more hours, and doctors and nurses walked out of the room to clean up. "He's stable sir. But, do be extremely careful." And with that, Ink practically flew into the room. Error was on the bed, still 95% crippled and broken. Ink sat next to the bed. The surgey was ment to help him! Ink grew angry, no..pissed. They were supposed to HELP HIM! Ink's gaze finally looked down at Error's arm. One arm had begun to slowly regenerate. Tears flooded Ink's eyes. "Please Error...wake up. What am I supposed to do without you now..please..I love you.." The last bit of the sentence was mumbled. Error's good eye open barely, looking up at Ink. He looked strongly in pain. Ink stood up and leaned down, lightly placing his forehead on Error's. "i...l....ove...you..to.." Error managed before falling back into a coma. Ink planted a soft kiss on his forehead before leaving the room. His life...really had changed. For better or for worse, Ink would now look at life differently. He was truly, awake.
