Chapter 7:

**skylars pov**

**next day/morning**

I woke up to my house phone ringing. "ANYONE GONNA GET THAT?" I yelled. "Oh wait today im home alone.." I mumbled to myself. I walked out of my room and grabbed the phone.

"Hello?" I said and sighed. "SKYLAR TIMMY GOT IN A CAR ACCIDENT PLEASE HURRY TO THE HOSPITAL HE IS REALLY HURT!" Max yelled into the phone and hung up. I was shocked my eyes started to water. I realized i was wearing leggings and a baggy tee shirt.

So i ran to my room to get a jacket i threw it on got my phone and ran out the door.

In the car ride i almost cursed out everyone who was going slow or who got in front of me. I finally got to the hospital and i ran in.

Max and casey and alex also ryan were there. They all walked over and hugged me. "H-how... W-what happened?" I said crying.

"Timmy was at a stop light and it turned green so he went but another guy ran the red light and t-boned him." Alex explained.

I shook my head and cried. Max and casey walked me over to a chair and i sat down and hugged my knees.

"I... I feel so bad. We got in a fight the night before and... You guys know." I said crying. Everyone rubbed my back. "It will be okay skylar." Ryan said. I shrugged his hand of my back. "And what if its not okay." I said.

Ryan shook his head. "Friends and family of timmy rasmussen." A nurse said.

We all walked up to her. "Its visiting hours so you may go see him." The nurse said to us. We nodded and walked in.

I hung my head down. Everyone walked in and max turned around "skylar... Are you gonna come in?" She asked.

"I. I dont know if i can." I said. Max took my hand. "Skylar. It will be okay and i know as bad as this will sound... What if this will be your last chance to see him." Max said.

I looked up at her in shock. "Come on go see him. Even if hes not awake." Max said. We walked in there. I saw timmy and i bursted out crying. Everyone walked over to me and tried to calm me down.

"No. Stop pitying me." I said whipping my tears away. I walked next to timmys bed. He was unconscious. I sat next to him.

"Timmy... I know your not awake but maybe you can hear me. I know i havent known you for a long time but i think of you as a really nice friend... Im sorry about last night and im sorry im just sorry and i feel bad and i just.... I wish it was me in this bed unconscious." I whispered to timmy.

I grabbed his hand and held it. "Timmy i love you and i just want you to know that im so sorry i cant date you right now... I just i feel like we should wait and just timmy. Please wake up." I said.

I started sobbing. "Please please please wake up timmy please i need you please timmy." I said crying and shaking.

The doctor walked in. "Hello im um here to explain the things timmy hurt and why we think why you know just stuff like that. Also may i ask if timmy has a girlfriend or is in a relationship with anyone here so i can explain more to them." The doctor said.

Everyone looked at me. Ryan put his hand on my shoulder. "This is timmys girlfriend." Ryan said. I looked at him.

"Okay well hello um timmy broke 3 ribs and a finger and his wrist... I think its because the way the car crashed into him you know but he will be okay he just also got some cuts so thats why he is unconscious he lost alot of blood and the crash happened this morning around... 9:30 am." The doctor said.

I nodded. I walked back over to timmy and sat next to him. I grabbed his hand... Again and i just looked at him. "I cant do this." I said crying. "Skylar sweetie its okay." Alex said. I sighed and walked out of the room. I actually ran outside and alex chased after me.

"SKYLAR WAIT GET BACK HERE!" Alex shouted. I ran to my car and locked myself in it. Alex was banging on the windows and i just sat there and cried. I finally unlocked the door and alex opened the door and picked me up.

"Now everyone is gonna think i want attention." I said crying. "No skylar they understand its a hard thing but timmy is gonna be alright." He said.

I calmed down and went back inside. I walked too timmys room.

"Sorry about that." I said hanging my head down. Everyone said it was okay. Timmy started to kinda shake his head but very lightly. I walked over to his bed and held his hand.

"Timmy?" I said. His eyes started to open. "Skylar... Were am i." He said. "Your in the hospital you got in a crash." I said whipping one of my tears away.

I hugged timmy gently and he hugged me back. Everyone else hugged him too. "Skylar when you were talking to me earlier and begging me to wake up i could hear you..." Timmy said.

"Yea-" i said and got cut off by him. "I understand if you dont want to date right now and i also love you too and dont apologize about last night its fine." Timmy said and held my hand.

I just sat next to him and hugged him gently again.
