Waking up to my mate in the morning is something I never be able to get used to. After a year of being without him, I feel as though it was worth the wait for now that I looked at him, he glowed. Seeing him laying gracefully on my chest makes my heart skip a beat. I've missed him so much.
The days I'd wake up in a cold sweat wanted reassurance from him that he was still here was common. My friends all told me to move on, but how could I when my other half was laying 6 feet under. How could I forget him when he was the most important person in my life, my soulmate.
But I shouldn't think about him as if he was dead. My mate. My little lion. Is right here in my arms.
Snapping out of my reverie, I feel Taehyung shift a little. Eventually he stopped moving only to sit up abruptly. His silver hair was sticking up every witch way as his piercing silver eyes stared tiredly at me.
"Good morning kookie." the omega yawned out before fixing his lips into a pout when he didn't get an answer back, "Jungkook I said good morning you're supposed to say 'Good Morning Love'. " Taehyung whined out weakly hitting his mate on the chest.
The raven haired male chuckled softly and then said, "Good morning love, sorry I didn't reply I was to entranced with your beauty, I forgot to say it back." the male response in a low voice while softly rubbing his lovers hips. His smile widened upon seeing the blush spread across Taehyung's cheeks.
"Uh is that Jinnie hyung calling, yes, I think it is. Well gotta go see what he wants." the small male rambled on as he raced to the door nearly tripping over himself three times. He snuck a glance back at Jungkook, who was still laying down, noticing the smug smirk on his face as he stared his omega down. Taehyung squeaked turning an impossible shade of red before leaving the room and running down the hall into the kitchen.
"Morning Tae, sleep well?" Jin asked the still red faced male as he washed off raw bacon putting it in the pan to cook once finished.
"Yes, it was great had a dream about- never mind." Taehyung interrupted himself before he could tell his hyung about his newest dream, if you could even call it that. This time there were two hooded figures one killed Jungkook while the other killed the child. It felt strange because the child looks familiar like Jungkook's kid self when I watch him die I feel this pain deep in my heart. But what struck out to me wasn't all the gruesome things going on in front of me. It was what the mask man holding Jungkook croaked out afterwards.
'One year'
But one year for what?
And that's what scared me the most.
"Tell me Taehyung I won't judge you know that." Jin said in a reassuring manner while still cooking breakfast. He finished mixing the eggs then turned fully facing the small omega.
"It was some stupid dream about rhinos wearing tiaras that's why I cut myself off. I'm sure you don't want to hear about that." Taehyung felt bad about lying but he didn't want to burden his hyung with his problems. Jin stares at the blank faced boy for a few seconds more before turning away giving his full attention to the food. But before Taehyung could escape to the living room he heard Jin whisper.
"You'll tell me the truth when your ready." But he didn't stop and try to convince Jin he wasn't lying, he just continued walking adding a fake smile on his lips that he hopes will turn into a real one as the days progress.
