First of all, its not the pokeshipping fanbase's fault if you watch pokemon with closed eyes. I am not going to get all cheesy and say that their love was evident, but hey...The biggest idiot on this world wont deny that they DID have some hints on their love.
And please..Keep in mind that this is NOT real. Misty is most likely a Tsundere, and it is perfectly normal for them to quarrel, and in Misty's case, smash him with a mallet.
When the hell did Misty try to cheer Ash up and made it worse? And even if she did, it was mostly funny. It is evidently not an important moment.
Its the way you view it, man...For me, Advanceshipping and Pearlshipping are brother-sister ships. For advance and pearl shippers, its very much the opposite. There really is no point in adding that point. No pun intended.
