Unprofessional

First day

     My alarm goes off at 4:45am, yes that crazy early but I need time to find the right outfit to fit my new job. It's my first day and I need to make a good impression. All my coworkers wanted to know what happened yesterday, but I thought it would be funny to hear them try and guess what happened and just pretty much lose their minds.

   Some of their guesses were sexual and others weren't. I loved messing with them, a few of my friends texted me last night asking what happened. I'm wondering if they will get mad at the fact that I got promoted and they all have been there a little longer than I have. I hope I don't lose my friends because of this. I will have talk to them at some point about this.

    I go and shower then quickly get dress in all black outfit. A black skirt that was a little too above the knee but showed nothing, and a black button up shirt. I brush my long jet-black hair then did natural light make up with a nice red lip and a smoky look.

I quickly get to my car and head to work, and I made there by 5:35. I felt like I should have got ready faster, maybe because I'm a little nervous about my first day as Mr. Phoenix's assistant I don't want to mess this up.

I walk straight to my boss's office door and knock, But I don't get any answer I just hear men's laughter. He must have friends or a meeting going on. I should wait but I have to be there at 6am and it's almost 6. So, I knock harder and this time I hear Mr. Phoenix answer.

Who is it He asked?

It's Ms. Smith sir I said feeling too proper so I kind of laugh at myself in my head, but I had a big smile on my face.

Oh come on in he says

I enter his office, and he was there sitting at his desk there two men sitting on the other side of his desk.All eyes are on me and i felt a bit uncomfortable under the stares. Gosh my boss is so sexy, wow i can't believe that  is what I'm thinking about right now. I stand there so long i don't realize I'm just standing there staring at my boss. So i speak up befpre it getings more stange.

  I'm sorry for interrupting your meeting Mr. Phoenix I'll come back later I said finally getting myself together.

You're fine Ms. Smith we were just wrapping things up he says.

Shall I walk you two out? asked Mr. Phoenix talking to his guest and both men agree then they all leave.

You're so stupid Faith I whisper to myself; how could I freeze up like that.

Moments later my boss returns, he seemed lost in thought himself.

   Look I'm sorry for before Mr. Phoenix I didn't know you had a meeting today I said.

He smirks up at me, so you think I'm sexy he says

  My jaw dropped out of pure shock and embarrassment.

How di- he cuts me off

Faith, you said it out loud I'm sure you didn't mean to since you look like you were thinking he says with a half-smile on his face.

I was little taken back by him calling me Faith, but I ignored that, and dear god why did I speak out loud.

I'm sorry for that Mr. Phoenix I said

Why are apologizing Faith? he asked now very close to me

I felt my heart racing at his nearness, he smelled amazing. And his were eyes just so, dammit Faith stop it I thought to myself.

Let me show to your office says my boss

He leads me to a black wood door inside his very oversized office. My office wasn't the same size, but it was still very big and had the same amazing view as his.

I hope this is alright for you he says

It's perfect thank you I said

Glad to hear it, all the things you need start on is on your desk he says.

He leaves my office and I get started on the work he left me to work on. And as I worked, I noticed he left notes for me asking to go get his dry cleaning and what time to pick up his lunch. I had to make sure I was on time for everything I wanted to make up for the things that happens earlier.
    This has been an  embarrassing first day for me and hopefully I'll do better soon.
