Late night call

I can't believe you got promoted said Lily who looked unhappy which is something I was afraid of. I hope she wouldn't start to hate me.

  I think it's amazing Faith, you've only been working For Phoenix company for a year and he's already spotted your hard work says Jack, taking a drink from his beer. I decided to tell my friends over drinks and good food.

    Ya it's crazy I said, it's been 3 weeks since I got the new position and so far it's ok but I'm way busier than I was before, But I don't mind it.

So how is it? Annie asked sounding desperate

Like? Asked Jack

Before I answered I look at Lily who still looked unhappy.

Hey Lily are you ok? I asked

  She shook her head, ya  I'm good she says drinking her beer.

I didn't believe her but I decided to not push her, Lily hates being pushed into talking about things. When I first met her I tried push her a lot to talk about things that she wasn't ready to talk about and that would make her more mad. So I will give her few days.
    I look at my other two friends who were looking worriedly at Lily and they both didn't look away from her for a while. I was so afraid of this, and I hope this isn't gonna get worse.

I'm fine guys I'm just tired she says

None of us believed her of course but we let her go. All of us decided to head out as well.As I made my way out of the bar my phone rings and to my surprise it was Mr. Phoenix calling me.

   Hello Mr. Phoenix I answered

I need you to come help me with something come back to my place he says

Uh ok I'll be there soon sir I said unsure of what he could want and why didn't he ask me I could have been busy, I shake my head not thinking too much of it because he's my boss and it might be important, but also why this late at night is he calling me to his place?

( 10 minutes later)

   I got to my bosses place and ring the door bell, and moments later Mr. Phoenix comes to the door with only a towel around his waist and my heart started racing like it running a damn marathon,  seeing him wet and pretty much naked. His muscles were perfect and he was so tall his eyes were a beautiful hazel color.

Like what you see Faith? Asked Mr. Phoenix

  Oh w- what is that you needed me for sir? I asked not meeting his eyes I was looking all over him. Omg Faith stop it now stop looking I said in my head.

   Hey beautiful my eyes are up here he says taking his finger and lifting up my chin so I would be meeting his eyes.

Did this sexy ass man call me beautiful I know I didn't just hear that right?

    Come on in he says

I nod and follow him inside , his place was nice of course and very big.

    So what did you need me to help you with? I asked following Mr. Phoenix into his bedroom. Why did I just follow without really thinking how in appropriate this may look.I felt nervous kinda but not too bad. Ok it was bad, like what if he wanted me that way , I'm such a over thinker I swear I need help.

  I need your help finding a suit for tomorrow nights charity event says Mr. Phoenix.

You need me ? I asked I was surprised at what he ask me to help him I didn't really expect this I actually don't know what I expected to be honest, I mean yes I thought it be work related or something. It was so strange that he called me here to help him pick out what to wear tomorrow night.

You look surprised, what did you think I needed you for? He asked

Sir sorry if this rude but I don't think this is part of my job as your assistant I said

He laughs slowly makes his way to me, you're my Personal assistant so whatever I need you for you have to do it even it seems a little too personal he says with a smile.

What do you mean by "too personal "? What kind of things would ask me to do? I asked

Normal things of course, like make reservations at restaurants for meetings with other company owners and picking up my dry cleaning etc he says without eye contact.

Are there other things you wanted me to ask you to do beautiful? he asked pulling me to him from my waist

I didn't know what to say he was looking at me in such a way and why was he touching me this way? And why was I letting it happen? Maybe because his touch warm and very inviting. Or maybe because I wanted his touch.

Mr. Phoenix laughs as he turns away from me, so what should I wear for tomorrow night? He asked

I walked over to his closet and looked through his suits, I stopped on a very dark blue suit and took it off the hanger.

I think this would look great and work for the charity event tomorrow night I said.

He looks over the suit I choose then nodes and looks at my face, Nice choice thank you Faith he says taking the suit. By the way find something nice for tomorrow for yourself for the charity event he adds

Wait I'm going to? I asked

Of course you're my personal assistant, you're going to learn about your job as time goes on he says

He walks me out the building and we say goodbye, I'm kind of nervous about what my new job will be like from now on, I guess I'll see soon.
