I got reincarnated as a dungeon!?!?

chapter 1: getting started

What feels like several hours have passed and it seems that Aliso talking to herself is really just her having an intense 'conversation' with the other gods, fortunately  she has made it possible for me to view the room where i am going to form in..... and it's boring AF because all i can see is stone walls and the room is empty.  she also warned me that when i did reincarnate it would feel very weird and uncomfortable till i got used to it.  it also seems she has finished talking to the other gods because she has turned towards me and seems to be waiting to talk to me so i say Well?" and she responds with"well, we can't  figure out what's going on with you, so for your own safety and others we will be placing a observer in your systems so we can record and monitor you.  on the plus side I will be able to watch in a over-the-shoulder point of view of what's going on so my boredom may be cures."  The first thing I think is how because the gods know nothing they are pretty much going to watch over my shoulder without even my permission. This...... annoys but I can't say that to the person who literally is in control of my life right now.  I sigh and say to the impatiently waiting goddess "OK, let's just get this over with." Her response is... elation? for some reason she is in a state of ectacy at my answer. "i hoped you would be okay with it, before i finish adding it i'll add something so i can talk to you." oh great shes gonna be whispering in my ear my entire life."well now that's all settled i'll just transfer to you what you will need to know as a dungeon core, and i'll send you on your way." as she said this i could feel the information flowing into my head before i pass out.

somewhere in a bleak land with seemingly only dead plants and pale bones of long since dead beasts is a giant coliseum where the seats were filled with strange shadow-like beings quietly conversing back in-forth in a lost language. this did not last long as all of their attention slowly focused on the giant scrying pool that filled the entire ring at the bottom of the seats, all waiting for something.....

i'm not sure how much time passed since i passed out but i did finally wake back up, altho the sensation of not being able to see, hear, or feel anything made 'disorienting' seem like an understatement to describe it.  the one thing i could feel was the movement of something in and out of me which part of my mind told me was the movement of something known as 'mana'. not sure i like the feeling but i figure i'll get used to it in time.  after what feels like several hours i have a weird sensation of moving outwards till i can 'feel' the walls of the room. after a few moments i have a sensation of  the room and everything in it being part of me which was disorienting.  after what feels like several hours i become more or less able to 'see' what i look like and it reminded me of no clipping in video games from my old world as my 'viewpoint' moved around the room looking at 'me' and the room.  about what a think is five minutes later i learn how to enter the dungeon menus and i can see there are lots of different creatures and structures i can make for myself but damn everything is so expensive! i get the feeling by looking at the weird purple lines of energy moving out of 'me' and sort of covering the walls that the energy might be more useful for expansion and that i might be able to use it to make monsters instead... i just need to know how first.

3 hours later:

after sitting there for a while something called my mana pool has filled and i could feel myself expanding beyond the room and i get the feeling i could now use what I've taken to calling 'residue' that seems to be emanating from me to expand and the 'information' the goddess pumped in my head tells me that i need to start making new rooms and hall ways so i can finish work on a first floor.  it also took the liberty of notifying me what way to the surface so i can officially a dungeon,  not that i'm going to do that till i have at least a simple maze or two and a small horde of monsters to protect me and resources or treasures to encourage adventures to come in as the 'information' told me i get more mana from things from the outside coming in and i get a lot of mana from them dying in here but it also seems to warn against killing to many visitors as they will stop coming if there are to many deaths.  in the way of resources I decided to have low level herbs and minerals spread around and I started trying to create a crystal cluster using the 'residue' I found in the end of my efforts that while I can start to from then it seems I have to let them grow on their own to get bigger than a golf ball.  

several days later:

slowly i branched out more and more with little trinkets and treasures spread about in little nooks and crannys as i placed what little monsters i could afford strategically and slowly reached towards the surface making sure to make myself as confusing and compact as possible.  i made sure that there were tons of passages so the monsters could move through fairly freely when visitors arrived and so i could escape in the moment i need to.  of course i stored lots of mana so i could replenish anything lost to visitors after about half a day of slowly expanding towards the surface(was slow because the path twisted and turned a lot) i was only a few feet to the surface so i spread out making more rooms and twisting passages working so that there was a total of 8 different passages that all would become separate parts of the dungeon but for now the simple little mazes at the end of the passages would do.  after having finished that i finally opened up to the surface.... only to find out that i'm connected to the ground in the middle of the forest and that there is a group of around 90 humans in the clearing fighting against a giant green-skinned monster and there are tons of goblins about.... to many goblins..... one of the humans seem to notice me and soon i'm practically scared shit-less when they all start heading towards me.  when the humans get closer i notice the majority of their armor is in horrible quality and them seem desperate.... so i decide that when they get here ill have my monsters stop the goblins and let the humans wander around so i quickly gather all of the resources into my hidey hole room that i made to keep spare treasures and monsters in and prepare to welcome the humans. 

|a/n i'm sorry for those who read this as iv'e only just got to writing so i'm not pertiuraly good at spelling or grammar nor am i good at full fledged explanations so i would love any help that i can get as i move along with this story bah bai|
