Chapter 3: Returning to School

It was the first day back to school she was nervous she kept bouncing her leg on the way to school with her sister cause for the first month of school she had to ride with Sienna. "If you need me you come find me okay. I love you Dallas even if we don't always get along you are still my baby sister." 

"Thanks Sienna." she said 

"You got everything you need right?' Sienna said

"Yeah I do." she said 

She got out of the car and walked in and took a deep breathe as she walked down the halls. She found her locker and put her back pack in it. She found her homeroom and Sadie and Olive said "Dallas.. you are back!" as they went to hug her.

"Please don't make a big deal about it." she said as she hugged them

"Where have you been?' Olive said

"I um I did homeschool I um I had some stuff happen that I rather not talk about." she said 

"Okay well when ever you are ready you know you can tell us we are your best friends." Sadie said

"Yeah I know." she said 

About two hours later she had to go into the bathroom before 2nd period and she pumped both boobs out and then put it all in her back pack. She was late to Biology and the teacher said "You haven't missed nothing yet Ms Sawyer it's alright but your seat is back there next to Bucky Barnes he's going to be your Biology partner."

"Thank you." she said in a low tone.

She sat down beside Bucky and took out her notebook and started to write down everything that was on the board. 

She was happy that her teachers knew why she would be late so she didn't feel so embarrassed about it. After school was over she waited at her sister's cheer practice and did some reading. After Sienna's practice was over they picked up Everleigh from daycare and then Stella came home and took Dallas to work and watched the baby while she was at work. 

For the first month that was Dallas's life then she was able to drive on her own to and from school and work. One day in Biology about a month and half into school the teacher said "Okay class I have a project for you all to do. Remember what I said about who you are sitting with is your partner in this class."

She started to pass out a prompt and said "We are doing this research project on germs. You can even bring in a demonstration if you like I don't care what you do but you will both have to write a report on it as well. You work together on it." 

Dallas looked down and realized this was going to be hard she knew Bucky played football and she worked when were they suppose to find time to do this between both of their busy schedules. 

After class she was at her locker when she heard "Dallas." 

She jumped and Bucky said "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you I just was wondering when would be a good day to do this project." 

"It's fine I just don't like when people come up behind me. Um Tuesdays and Thursdays are my nights off. Saturdays and Sundays I work the lunch shifts so I have those nights as well." she said 

"Okay.. um well I get out of practice at 630 so can I come over and we can do it then." he said

"Um it would be better if we did anywhere else but my house." she said 

"Okay that's fine um my house then." he said

"Yeah.." she said as she looked down

"My dad picks me up from practice and gets pizza for me is there a topping you like." he said 

"Um pepperoni and mushroom" she said 

"Okay.. um so tonight at like 7." he said 

"Yeah.. that's fine." she said as she realized it was Tuesday. 

That night she drove over to his house when he texted her the address to his house and she pulled in. He walked out and said "You are the one that drives that car." when he saw her BMW M6 Gran Coup car. 

"Yeah.." she said

"How are you allowed to drive as a sophomore." he said as they walked in and sat down at the kitchen. 

"I just have a lot of stuff going on that I rather not talk about. My parents talked to the school board that's all I know." she said as she ate a slice of pizza. 

After they finished their pizza they started to work on their research project. He looked over at her and said "So um can I ask what your parents do in order to get you that car." 

"My dad is Dr Ryan Sawyer and my mom is Dr Stella Sawyer." she said 

His eyes went wide and said "Your AJ and Sienna Sawyer's little sister." 

"Oh.. yeah." she said as she looked down then she looked at him and he said "What?' 

"You dated my sister?" she said as she remembered hearing Sienna wearing his hoodie around for awhile. 

"Oh.. um not very long maybe for like 2 months then she broke up with me cause she met someone that was her age." he said 

"Well that's my sister for you." she said as she felt her breasts start to hurt. 

"Are you okay?' he said

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm pretty tired so I'm gonna go so um I might talk to my boss to see if it's okay. But if you want maybe once I know where my section is maybe in between tables I can work on this cause I hate that we have two weeks and that doesn't really give us a lot of time. But I will text you and let you know." she said 

"Okay um just let me know." he said as he walked her out.
