Connor Franta's Sister

1- the awakening

I woke up to a man and a woman fighting with each other. I couldn't hear what they were fighting about. They stopped fighting when they saw me walking down the stairs. I almost fell down the stairs because I was so dizzy. I had no clue what was going on.

i was pulled out of my thoughts by the woman saying, "Hi I'm Julie and this is Dan. We are your foster parents. I know you are confused but don't be scared." I stood there. No words were coming out of my mouth.

"Sky, hun, your parents died in a car accident a couple months ago. You were in the hospital for one month and you lost your memory. The police said it would be safer to find a foster home for right now until you feel better. We volunteered so here you are."

I honestly had no clue what to say so I asked, "Do I have any pets or siblings?"

After I said it, it sounded really random because we were talking about my parents dying and I had to bring up pets and siblings. I regret asking that now. She probably thinks I'm weird.

"You have a brother and two cats," Dan said.

I was surprised. He hasn't talked since he saw me. But I smiled because I love cats.

"Your brother's name is Connor and the cats are Sam and Caspar. Caspar is brown with a black spot on his back and Sam is orange. Connor is 21 and he will tell you about himself when you meet him. Okay?"

I nodded and asked if I could get some rest.

"Oh yes! Your room is the first door to your left."

She smiled a huge smile and I shyly smiled back.

I walked upstairs and walked into my room. I didn't really look around when I first woke up. So I decided to look around.

I had a queen size bed and the covers were beach themed. Come to think of it, the whole room was beach themed. I really liked it. The bed had white pillows and the cover was a beach. The sheets were a light gray. There was a big walk in closet with a ton of cute clothes.

After looking around the room, I sat down and looked out the window. I saw little kids on the beach. They were going up to the water and then when a wave came, they would run and scream. I smiled and then there was a knock at the door. I opened the door to see a guy. I'm guessing he was Connor, my brother.

"Hi I'm Connor. You must be Sky?"

"That's me!" I said a little too cheerful.

We kept talking for a while and I learned a lot about him and he learned a lot about me.

"Hey, I'll give you a tour tomorrow and I'll introduce you to some of my friends."

"A-are you sure?" I was nervous. What if they think I'm too different?

"Everything will be fine" he assured me. I smiled and nodded. I hugged him and he seemed shocked. But then he hugged back.

"Goodnight Sky"

"Goodnight Con"

I smiled and layed in bed. I put on some 5sos because who doesn't like them?

And then I slowly drifted to sleep.
