Older Brother and Conflict

There he was... my brother... who I thought was still in the army, but I guess he came back early or he's just on a holiday vacation. I quickly pushed Joshua away from me and turned over to my brother. "Tina Kim, what are you doing?" He asked me. 

"Taeyeon Kim, what are you doing here?" I turned the question over to him. 

"I'm on break, what about you? Are you with a boy?" He asked me. 

"Yea and he's just a friend so get lost," I told him. 

"Hi, I'm Joshua." Joshua walked up to him and I knew that was a horrible mistake already. 

"Hi Joshua, I'm Taeyeon." Taeyeon introduced himself with a fake smile and I glared at him. 

"OH! Taeyeon! HI!" Lucy exclaimed and clung onto him. 

"Gosh dammit, Lucy get off of him!" I shouted out of the whim. 

"... I never taught you to be like this." Taeyeon looked at me in disappointment. 

"I'm... just gonna go." I stormed out of the festival out of anger and decided to take a long way home. 

Narrator's POV

Tina had left, Joshua running after her and Jeonghan showed up, "Lucy?" Jeonghan had a bitter-sweet smile plastered on his face. 

"Oh... Jeonghan hi! This is Taeyeon, Tina's older brother." Lucy smiled over to him. 

"Oh, hi I'm Yoon Jeonghan." Jeonghan held out his hand, Taeyeon shook it before excusing himself. 

"Well, I have a feeling I should go after my little sister before I get beat up by my mom," Taeyeon excused himself and ran after her. To only realize that he doesn't know the way that Tina took. 

"So why did you cling onto him like he was your own lover?" Jeonghan asked Lucy as he looked over to Seungcheol. Seungcheol knew a toxic relationship when he saw one and this was one of them. 

Meanwhile, Tina was on her way home, embarrassed to death and didn't want to deal with her brother anymore. Taeyeon took the short cut home and the route that Tina was taking took a good twenty minutes or so. 

"Um, that's because I got really close to Taeyeon when I met Tina last year. He was really nice and I've had a crush on him but when he graduated it went away and I met you." Lucy tried lying her way out. 

"Do you really like me Lucy or are you just using me for your own needs?" Jeonghan asked her, seriously. 

"Let's go?" Youn-Ji asked Seungcheol. 

"Yea let's go, I'll take you guys home," Seungcheol said and they all left except for Lucy and Jeonghan. 

"Well?" Jeonghan wasn't going to leave until he had an answer. 

"I just... it's just... I haven't seen him in a long time so I didn't know he was going to be coming back so suddenly." Lucy lied. 

"Do you really like me Lucy or do you just like the thought of being with me and having a boyfriend? I need an honest answer, Lucy, I didn't just go out with you because you asked I'm going out with you because I thought you really liked me," Jeonghan told her. 

"I do! I really do! It's just... I've been with Taeyeon for a little longer than you he's almost like a brother to me." Lucy tried to compromise with him. 

"I don't care who he is to you Lucy, keep your eyes on me and me only." Jeonghan left the festival and Lucy was stuck there. She didn't know where she went wrong all she wanted was a nice relationship and to forget Taeyeon. Maybe this is what Tina meant a couple days ago to when she said that she doesn't know if it's going to last long. 

Taeyeon was already home and he asked his parents if Tina came home yet, "Is my little sister home yet?" He asked. 

"Hmm? Who? Tina? No, I thought she would come home with you," Their mom told them. 

"What? She's not home?" Taeyeon asked. 

"What happened? What did you do Taeyeon?" Their mom asked. 

"I just saw her at the festival with a couple of her friends..." Taeyeon sounded innocent. 

"You better go out and look for her, she does this every damn time you mess with her relationships! I already told you to stop messing with her about that!" Their dad shouted. Taeyeon groaned and left to look for Tina who was 'missing'. 

Tina was crying on the way home and she didn't want to see her brother at all and she made it on the main road to her house and she saw her brother. Great, she thought to herself, she decided to put on her cap and look down on her phone while walking home hoping he wouldn't notice her. Her brother walked right past her and Tina made it home without him noticing, she looked up and just sobbed to her mom and dad. 

"What's wrong?! What did Taeyeon do to you?!" Her mom exclaimed. 

"He embarrassed me and always accuses me of having a boyfriend even when I don't have one! Mom I hate Taeyeon!" Tina shouted as Taeyeon was standing in the doorway.

"Is that really how you view of me?" Taeyeon asked her, Tina turned around and was frustrated with him. 

"Yes! THAT'S HOW I VIEW YOU!! When I'm so close to having someone close to me you RUIN IT! YOU RUIN EVERYTHING TAEYEON! I WAS SO GLAD THAT YOU WERE GONE IN THE ARMY SO THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANYMORE OF YOUR SHIT BUT HERE YOU ARE!!! GOSH, I HATE YOU SO MUCH FOR THE SHIT THAT YOU DO TO ME!" Tina shouted at the top of her lungs. 

"Don't say that now Tina..." Her mom tried to calm her down. 

"NO! I'm done! I'm done with all your shit if that's all your gonna do to me Taeyeon then I might as well just lock myself up and keep my distance from you! You're such a horrible person I don't know ONE person who would break apart their sibling's relationships and it's normally the dad who does it." Tina finally got her words out and she stormed off to her room. 

"Is that really what she thought of me?" Taeyeon asked their parents. Her mom nodded her head slowly, "And why didn't you guys tell me any of this?" 

"Because we were hoping that you'd stop after the first couple of times that you did it. But please don't do it again, she will really cut you off if it means for her to be happy. She was already in a fight with her best friend Lucy so don't put any more stress on her." Their mom told him and left to her room. 

Now you may think that Tina is being a little baby but that's not it, she's been through this two other times. She had a boyfriend while in seventh grade and that ended in two months after her brother had pestered them for the longest time and her eighth grade one didn't even last a month before he dipped. She's now a freshman and Taeyeon graduated but she still can't stand what he does to her. Maybe it is best for her to just cut ties from her brother.
