Love

She runs into her room and quickly packs her things. She wants to get out of there. She can't stand her own feelings anymore.

As she's busy stuffing her clothes into her bag, someone enters the room and locks it back. She quickly wipes her tears as she looks at him with her pleading eyes. She knows he is angry at her, for her failure.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Away. If you still want to kill him, then do it. I can't!"

"You had the chance y/n.. Why can't you?" He asked while looking into her eyes. He flicks his tongue as he said, "You really do love him. Don't you?"

She looks away and doesn't reply to him. She doesn't even know.

"Would you really want to spend your life with someone that killed our father? We made him a promise"

She takes a deep breath and straightly looks back at him.

"So what if I love him Namjoon?"

"So what? Are you crazy? I didn't plan all of these just to have you ruined them all! I don't plan to become his so-called-bestfriend for nothing!" Namjoon yelled at her as he slams his hands on the table.

Flashback

"You guys go ahead. I'll bring the girl" Namjoon said then Jimin takes away the boy out from the room.

"Did you really have to hit me THAT hard?" She sighed.

"I'm sorry. I had to. Now, when you meet that bastard Jin later, don't talk too much with him.. or with anybody here." He said while untying her.

"I didn't want to kill him. But when I saw he shot the bullet to my father's chest, I can't hold myself back.

Kim Jaehyun.

The superior man is gone now. I'm the only powerful one here. No one is going to stop me now."

She feels her heart sinks down and it makes her wants to cry just right there. But she holds it in, she closes the book and returns it to its original place.

She wipes her tears and when she's about to walk out from the room, she heard footsteps are coming in. Panic started to rush through her body but before she could hide, the person comes in.

"Thought you'd be here eventually"

She exhales a sigh of relief when it is her own brother who enters Jin's room.

"Did you cry?" Namjoon asked as he examines her eyes.

"No.. I just.. I found—"

"His journal." He said then he lets out a sigh. "You can't be here y/n. You're still quite new here, it's risky if you ever get caught"

She nods her head and walks out from the room.

"Why are you here?" He asked.

"I.. I just checked up on Jin. That's all"

"You know you shouldn't" Namjoon sternly said.

She apologized to him and walks back to her room. She feels bad yet she can't even describe her own feelings about this situation.

While she is just spacing out in her own room, she heard the door being opened and a man walks in with a slight smirk on his face.

"Don't worry. I know everything"

She looks up and see Taehyung in her room. "What are you doing here? It's late"

"Namjoon told me everything y/n.. You shouldn't be scared. I wanted to help you" Taehyung said as he takes a seat next to her.

Before she can reply to him, another man comes in. It's Namjoon himself.

"What do you mean Taehyung knew?" She asked him. "I trust him. I've always keep my eyes on him since the moment he steps in here. I know he is capable of it"

She then looks back at Taehyung who is grinning mischivieously at her. "I'll be loyal for you"

End of flashback.

Namjoon looks into her eyes and gently holds her face to look up to him. "Please y/n.. I didn't plan everything just to get another failure. I even asked Taehyung to poison him while Jin was injured but darn it! Luck is always on his side!"

She remains silent while thinking about Namjoon's plans. She knows he couldn't kill Jin just like that even when their father was still alive. Jin's empire keeps growing even bigger and the only way Namjoon can do it is just by pretending to be Jin's friend. Thankfully Jin doesn't have any records of Kim Jaehyun's family and Jaehyun himself keeps his family as a private matter for him, so that he can always keeps his family protected from the other mafias. He doesn't want his children to be Jin's targets.

So that Namjoon planned to make a fake accident and helped Jin out from his car. He worked so hard to gain Jin's trust so that he can be Jin's trustworthy friend. He had to do it afterall. He needs to know everything about his empire.

Everytime Jin asked him about Jaehyun's family records, he always lies to him saying that Jaehyun doesn't even has any children when infact he is Jaehyun's eldest son.

Namjoon can't kill Jin just like that since they became close, he is always being surrounded by other guys and that's why he needs his sister to join in too because maybe with a girl, Jin can have some private time with her and she'll be able to take that chance to kill him.

"Namjoon.. Please understand me for once. Tell him about the truth. The truth about us, everything.. and if he wants to fight us after that, then let him be. Till then, we can see who will survive" She said to him.

"You know I can't do that! I've always wanted to kill him. Think about our father!" He holds her shoulders as he stares at her.

"Please step aside our revenge for once! We can solve this without killing anybody! Please Namjoon... please.." She pleads at him, begging him to understand her feelings towards Jin.

He lets go of her and remains silent for awhile but then he nodded his head slowly. "I'll try to talk to him.. later. It's not going to be easy."

She finally can gives him a small smile and hugs him tightly after that. "Thank you Namjoon. You're the best brother!"

Namjoon hugs her back and pats her back. "You're my only sister.. You're the only one that I have now and I couldn't stand seeing you sad"

She lets go of him and see Namjoon gives her his warm smile. "But you must go and stay at our own house for this moment. I guess it'll be awkward for you and Jin for now hm?" He asked.

"Yes. I don't plan to stay here too.. I can't stand my own guilt" she said and continues to pack her stuffs.

Namjoon sighs and helps her to pack her things too. It is really hard for him to make this decision but... he will do anything for his own sister's happiness.
