"Who do you keep risking your life?! To prove a point?!"

" Yup"

She cried watching her best friend walk into the airport. He was leaving. He was going to the military. She would be alone again. Alone to her abusive parents and boyfriend.

"Or are you just trying to die? Can you just not stand me that much?!"

"Sidney look, I swear on my life I'll be home before you know it"

He kissed her small forehead. Her dad grabbed here away from her brother. This would be the last time He was seen alive. A few years later she was turning eighteen. She joined as her brother did. As she waved to a friend she said goodbye for the last time. A year after she was deployed her fellow soldiers walked to her "home" and cried with her parents. Sidney died in the arms of her lieutenant. As she fought the brave fight, people still say she was fighting with her brother by her side.
