"Vhy are you doing zhis to me?" Schneep called out in the darkness, Anti appearing in front of him.

"I want to see how much pain I can bring before you break. I'm surprised you haven't broken yet honestly." Anti admitted.

"Now, why are you fighting my control? I thought you were finally starting to understand your position in this relationship." Anti added, folding his arms across his chest.

"I'm trying to get rid of you!" Schneep shouted in exasperation, the demon pretending to look hurt.

"Well that's not very nice. Ya know, since your body is asleep, I could possess you pretty easily and go back to Brighton to look for the magician." Anti remarked casually, Schneep stiffening in response.

"Just let me take control of your body again so I can find Marvin and get out of your life once and for all." Anti directed impatiently, Schneep shaking his head.

"That's how my past vessels acted before I killed them." Anti chuckled, sending shivers down Schneep's spine.

"Before you, I possessed an Irishman named Seán, then I slit his throat when he stopped cooperating. Way before Seán, I possessed a mute movie actor named Jameson Jackson until I eventually slit his throat too." Anti stated, Schneep's face growing pale.

"So you see, there's been kind of a theme with my past vessels. It would be a shame if I had to slit your throat too Henrik." Anti tsked.

"Go to hell." Schneep spat, pretending to be fearless while Anti tilted his head back and laughed.

"Been there, done that. But hey, maybe I'll see you there soon."

"Henrik!"

Schneep was startled awake by a pair of hands grabbing onto his shoulders, shaking him awake.

"You were talking in your sleep, then you just stopped breathing." Sam told Schneep worriedly, letting go of the German as he slowly sat up.

"Sorry, I just...it's Anti, he's been in my head trying to make me go insane so I let him take back over." Schneep sighed, Sam seeming to relax slightly as Schneep laid his head back down on the pillow and closed his eyes.

"Does this Anti demon have it out for ya, or is he just picking you as his vessel for shits and giggles?" Dean spoke up gruffly from his bed, a beer bottle in hand.

"No, I was zhe last person to see Za-Marvin, so he's certain that he'll come back to me for some reason." Schneep explained, picturing the blue eyed white cat in his mind.

"I know he'll come back to you. Marvin's weak, and you've helped him. Once he regains his strength, he'll return to you and then I'll take his soul." Anti declared confidently.

"Shut zhe fuck up already." Schneep groaned quietly in irritation, Sam and Dean shooting him a look.

"I'm going to go get a coffee, I'll be back." Schneep yawned, brushing away his earlier comment as he left the room.

"This is fun, having the doctor become the patient." Anti commented, Schneep growling quietly under his breath as he stepped into the elevator.

"At least let me have my coffee before you pound my face in." Schneep pleaded in mild irritation, watching the floor numbers go down as the elevator descended towards the ground floor.

"I have a better idea."

Schneep sucked in a breath as the lights abruptly went out, the elevator grinding to a halt and leaving Schneep standing alone in the darkness.

"Very funny, now let me out of here." Schneep huffed, folding his arms across his chest with a scowl.

"Nah, I want you to know what it's like to be trapped like me, to be stuck in the dark all alone." Anti countered casually.

"Vell I've learned my lesson. Happy?" Schneep muttered, leaning against the wall.

"I can kill you-"

"But you haven't yet, and I don't think you ever vill." Schneep interrupted, silence filling the air as Schneep waited for Anti to make his next move.

"Bite me."

Schneep staggered as the elevator shot up to the top floor before plummeting towards the bottom floor, red emergency lights flashing inside.

Schneep closed his eyes and braced for the impact, opening his eyes as the elevator jolted to a stop at the ground floor.

The doors slid open with a ding as the lights returned to normal, Schneep stepping out and pretending nothing had happened while his heart pounded in his ears.

"I wouldn't suggest taunting me unless you really do have a death wish." Anti threatened calmly, Schneep's hands shaking as he stuffed them into the pockets of his lab coat and strode over to the breakfast bar.

The German sat at a table far from everyone else and drank his coffee, looking out the window and thinking of home.

"How's your coffee Doc?"

Schneep snapped out of his thoughts as Dean sat across from him, his own coffee in hand with a flask in the other.

"You drink Doc?" Dean asked, offering him the silver flask.

"Generally no, but I'm generally never possessed either." Schneep retorted, pouring some of the contents of the flask into his coffee before taking a long drink.

"Look, I know everything's kinda fucked up right now, but we're going to help you." Dean promised, shooting Schneep a reassuring grin.

Schneep nodded as he returned his gaze to the window, his eyes widening in surprise as he watched a white cat with bright blue eyes wrapped in bandages dart past before disappearing into the shadows.

"I'll be back." Schneep spoke in a rush, darting out of the hotel with Dean following.

"Doc wait!" Dean shouted, Schneep running on until he reached the spot where he last saw the cat.

"I could've sworn that I saw something." Schneep insisted.

"You like my disappearing act?"

A man dressed in a dark blue shirt and black jeans wearing a cat mask and a black cape stepped out of the shadows, his arm and leg wrapped in bloodstained bandages as well as his lower back.

"Marvin the Magnificent, at your service." The male bowed, his baby blue eyes expressing his amusement.
