Consecration Ritual

If you'll read my Book of Shadows you'll find the first chapter a bit odd. The first chapter explains how you will activate all spells from the book.

Normally wiccan spells is the typical what you see is what you get type of spells so to speak. It gives you the needed things and the incantation to cast it. Even without the consent of the owner as long as you have kept the copy. And sometimes those spells do not work at all because of that. But for my spells you need to activate it first.

Here are the following reasons.

1. The spells on my book of shadows are treated as sacred. so you need to consecrate the incantation first before you cast it.

2. If the spell was not consecrated it won't be potent.

3. The ritual will serve as your own patent, without the owners consent the spell will not be powerful. So to make the spell as your own you need to do the ritual for each spell.

4.The said ritual is also beneficial if you're writing your own book of shadow. If you'll gather all papers that you used during the said ritual and bind them. the book of shadow of yours will be powerful. It will inhabited by sacred energy or the Holy Ghost that makes each spell potent and active.

5.If all the spells that you've acquired are consecrated and gathered altogether bounded as a book . Your book of shadow will said to be touchable by no one else but you. It only means that no one would gain access of the book. even though they stole it forcefully and copy the spell as long as they did not do the consecration ritual it will not work for them.

7. However there are some exceptions, If the person who stolen the consecrated book of shadow has a spell that can reveal the book they will have access from it. the only spell that can unlock the book is one of Abremelin's spells. of course it is hard for someone to get that rare spell. Or if that person have in touch with his or her guardian spirit they would have access to the consecrated book.

A Few Reminders

Never bring the book of shadow in any place where sin takes place

Never bring the book of shadow where sacraments were being held like funerals, baptismal, or even inside the church.

Never let the book touch the ground, for the earth is unclean.

Never share nor lend the book to someone without knowledge about the occult for they will use it against you.

Leave the book in the altar but never let dust or light touch the book. treat the book as sacred as your body.

Do not throw the book or toss it for it is Hallowed.

It is forbidden to step on the book for it is Holy.

You can copy the spells inside the book as long as you have done the consecration ritual.

To make your book more powerful you can chant the incantation for the ritual every Friday at 6pm at sunset. ( this part is just optional )

Failure to follow the said instructions will nullify the book's sacredness and will make your book useless.
