Charla POV
I sit there waiting for our chef to come out and it seems to be taking forever, so started playing on my phone under the table. Our chef comes out and started to cook the fried rice. When he puts the veggies on the grill one of the carrots popped up and hit me! I finally looked up and I was just in shock.
"Did you just throw food at me?!?"
"It was an accident it just popped."
His eyes just drew me in they are huge and framed with amazing eyelashes. Delilah told him I am a baking and pastry student and Toby and I ended up taking the whole meal away. I was kinda sad when he left but just had to get over it.
I found out later my grandma and Delilah tried to give hime my number by giving it to our waitress. He never got it but luckily we put it on his cart when he came back out to cook another table.
I was waiting to see if he would text me we got home around 9:00.
10:00 came and went
11:00 came and went
and close to 12:00 I get a text

it was really nice talking with you tonight
I enjoyed it too, we should hang out soon

this conversation carried on into the next day and we decided to go ice skating soon. We also agreed to get together and be able to get to know each other further and see where it would go.
