Chapter 4: heretics (part1)

Evanora's POV
Everyone was looking happy, even I was happy that I was in high school. I attended all the classes. Some were fun and some were boring. My mind was totally messed up. The dream I saw was playing in my mind and in other hand I was thinking about mason, Argh! Mason ...why!? I was wondering is he actually so sweet or is he something else inside. Maybe a devil. I don't know.

Jenna was invisible since science class, and I was so worried. I asked everyone about her but no one had seen her. At the same moment Jenna Entered the class room, and she came to me with a shocked face. "Are you okay? I was finding you everywhere." I said with a doubtful face expression. "Okay! You won't believe it but someone just asked me out for a date!! She said and grinned.

"OMG are you kidding?"—I asked with so much excitement. "No! Of course not."—she replied. She was so happy at that moment. "Can you show me who the guy is?"—I asked her with a smile. She showed me his picture on her mobile. OMG it was Josh! "He is my best friend since we were kids. And I know he is the best guy for you."—I said with a serious smile on my face. I know josh is the best person for her.

"OMG is that the same Josh you told me before?— she asked with a shocked face. "Yep"—I replied. We both screamed and everyone started looking at us with a suspicious look. Suddenly school over bell rang and everyone rushed out of the class. I was still there inside the class room to do the works like cleaning of green board and lock the class room.

As soon as I did the work, I locked my classroom and rushed to Mr. Jones, our keys in charge. I gave him the keys and reached our school ground. I started feeling weird. I felt like someone was following me. I looked back but there were no one. I started walking but again I felt like someone was there. Again I turned back and OMG!! It was Mason, staring at me. He rapidly came to me pushed me so hard that I bump into the walls behind me.

My head was paining. He started walking towards me. It made me so angry!! I never thought Mason would do anything like this. I got up, and He tried to attack me again but I ran towards him and kicked him on his belly and he goes away too far.

I used my magic. I focused on his mind, used my hands to control it. I used my powers and applied so much pressure on his head that he started screaming, requesting and apologising. "Stop! Please, stop!... I'm sorry!! Please!!! I'm sorry!"

I finally stopped it. "Ah... so you are a Heretic, ah... I'm sorry I attacked you. I just wanted to know what you are"—he gasped. "So you could just ask me simply."—I yelled with anger. I wanted to torture him more, but my heart stopped me. I know I felt something for him, but he doesn't deserve it. "I wanted to see your powers. I even asked Josh about you but he didn't tell me anything."—he said by looking into my eyes. My eyes were teary but the tears never came out.

"How do I trust you? You just attacked me. What if you kill me one day."—I yelled at him. "Ah... Please just listen to me."—he said. I looked at his teary eyes, one part of me
Was saying help him but other part was saying leave him. After what he did, I chose 2nd path and turned my back on him. I left him in pain. I was hurt after he attacked me. I was crying and confused that why was I sad for a stranger.

Maria's POV
(At Maria's home)
"So she compelled you huh?"— my cousin asked. "Yes! She tried, but I was on chemical you gave me so it didn't affect."— I said while looking at his eyes. "Now you know, she is a vampire."—he said with a serious look. "Nora is a vampire? I thought they are not real."— I said with full doubt. "They are real. And I need your help"—he said smugly.
