Chapter 5: I listened to my Heart

Evanora's POV
We had fun with Josh as he was my bother now. We ate dinner and went to our beds. I can't stop thinking about Mason. I still have a soft corner for him inside my stoned heart. I know he was someone special entered in my life mysteriously. I jumped on my bed looked out of window to the stars. I looked down towards the road and got shocked. Mason was standing there.

He was looking at me with a sweet smile on his face. Suddenly he disappeared in a blink of my eyes. I was confused. He was standing there and now he just disappeared rapidly. Was it an illusion. Why was I seeing him. His eyes were mesmerizing me and coming in my mind. His voice was echoing inside my head. I can't stop thinking about him.

I was confused. It was 2am at night. I went towards Josh's room, he was sleeping. I turned back because I didn't want to disturb him. "Nora?"— Josh asked. He was awake. "Sorry to disturb you."— I said softly. "No you didn't, I was already awoken thinking about Jenna and our date tomorrow."—he chuckled. "What took you here at 2am? I think you need my help."—he added. Josh always recognized if I have problems.

"It's about Mason, I can't stop seeing him and thinking about him. You know when I touched his hand I felt relief, protection and A connection."— I said in a gentle calm voice and with a smile. I told Josh everything that happened between me and Mason. "Look Nora Mason and I have been friends for over 2 years. I'm aware of every ounce of him now. He is not a wrong guy, he saved me from dying."—he said emotionally.

"Did he asked you about me"—I asked by looking into his eyes. "Yes, he asked me about you but I didn't tell him. I was thinking about Jenna."—he said. So Mason was right, he actually asked Marcus about me. "Do you like him?"—he asked with smile. "I don't know, it's all confusing. I don't know what to do."—I nodded.

"You know I can see feelings for him in your eyes. You are seeing him because you feel for him. Forget what Mason did to you because he is not the guy you are thinking. He is the best guy for you according to me. I know him very well. Listen to your heart."—he grinned. My heart was saying forgive Mason and trust him because you like him. I think this time I have to listen to my heart because I. Like. Him more than a friend. And I know it.

Mason's POV
(Mason's home)
Ugh! I can't sleep, she is all over my head. I wanna apologize to her. I never thought this would hurt her so much. I can't stop thinking about her. I rolled in different position on my bed. I heard a voice. It seemed like someone was there beside me. I turned back and saw her. Nora, lying on my bed in front of me. Looking into my eyes and smiling with her pink feather lips.

I blinked my eyes with a smile, and she was gone. Huh! it was an illusion. I think...I fancy her, I feel so good around her. I wanted to apologize to her. Can I say sorry with a letter and her favourite gift? I think I should ask Josh about this. I called him.

Josh's POV
Nora was sitting on my bed beside me thinking about these things. Suddenly my mobile started ringing. I saw the name and it was Mason. I showed this to Nora, and she said "put the call on speaker". I attended the call. "Hey! Josh"—he said. It seemed like he was tensed. "Hey! What's up? You are still awake?"—I asked by looking at Nora.

"Help me! I'm in so much confusion and trouble."—he said with a distraught voice. "What happened?"—I asked in worry. At the moment I saw Nora in tension while listening to Mason's voice. "I really wanna apologize to Nora because I hurt her feelings."—he said with in a serious tone.

"Yeah I know about it, she told me already."—I said with a harsh voice. "I'm really sorry for that. I can't even sleep and I can't stop thinking about her. I think maybe I fancy her."—he said in a calm, pleasing tone. Nora was shocked! And Frozen with mouth wide open. I could see a massive amount of happiness on her face. "You mean like the crush one?"—I asked him while looking at Nora's socked face.

"Yes!! And I thought that I can give her a gift, please can you tell me what she likes, you were her best friend."—he said with request. Well I think it's the better timing for sorting out this mess. "Um... I think you should ask her by yourself."—I said with little laugh. I handed over my phone to Nora who was nodding and saying no.

Evanora's POV
Mason was confused. He was continuously helloing. And then finally I spoke. "Um... hi."— I said softly with fast beating heart. "Nora!? Um... I'm really sorry for what I did."—Mason said. His was seemed like he really felt bad. "I forgive you Mason."— I said gently while looking at Josh. "Really!?"—he asked. It shows how sorry and excited he was for my forgiveness.

"Yes! And sorry I turned my back on you."—I said with watery eyes. Tears were willing to come out. "No it's okay! After what I did, I deserved this."—he said. "Wanna be friends?"—he asked? It seemed like he got his smile back. "Sure."—I said softly. "And by the way I don't want any gift."— I said with a smile. "Okay but at least tell me what do you like?"— he asked curiously "Well I like crystals, the real one. But don't think of buying it Okay?"— I asked. "Okay!! Thank you. I'll see you at school tomorrow."—he said gently. "sure, bye."—I said slowly with a smile and I hung up the phone. I looked at Josh with a broad smile and hugged him. Now I can sleep properly but Mason was still over my head.

Mason's POV
Yes!! She has forgiven me. Holy sh*t! I can't believe it. I was blushing, with massive happiness on my shocked face. But did she heard mine and Josh's talk? What if she did? Well lets see what will happen next. So she likes crystals, witchy thing. I went to sleep but still can't stop thinking about her. Her adorable smile, sparkling Marble blue eyes, cherry lips and bad ass nature was melting me.
