What if Jambu was Glory's full brother?

So we all know that Jambu is Glory's half brother right? But what if he wasn't??!!! DUN DUN DUUUUUUUNNN

"Glory?" Jambu asked, quietly. Glory turned her head up from the eggs and looked at him.

They were in the royal hatchery. Jambu wanted to come 'protect her just in case something happened while Deathbringer checked up on the NightWings.'

Even though Glory thought it was suspicious, she still let her half-brother come with her.

Half-brother. I kinda wish we were full siblings.

"What is it?" She asked. Jambu looked worried. Or was it sadness she saw in those dull eyes?

"You ever wish we were full siblings? Not half-brother and sister?" He asked, as if reading Glory's mind.

She nodded and gave him a skeptical look. Jambu gave a wiry smile.

"But what if I told you we were?" Jambu asked, leaving Glory wide-eyed.

He chuckled. "I know, it's weird, right?" He asked and looked up.

"Why....why didn't you say so then? How come you told me we were only half siblings???" Glory was a little hurt. But mostly she was confused.

Jambu closed his eyes. "Today is our mom's birthday, Raspberry. She kept our eggs in her hut, not wanting to leave us somewhere where we could easily get hurt." He said.

"I hatched first and mom never let me out of her sight. It was kinda annoying sometimes, but I got used to it." He continued.

Glory was on the verge of tears now. Her and Jambu, full siblings? She has a mother? Well, that was kind of silly to say, but for RainWings, it wasn't.

"Anyways," Jambu continued on. "One day we were walking into the Rainforest, picking fruit, when all of a sudden I saw a flash of aqua green scales in the sky."

Glory felt a single tear roll down her right eye. "It was the brightest night that day." Jambu said with a sigh.

"Mom thought she saw a sliver of an egg in the dragon's hands. She had to check up on you to see if you were still there. We dashed over to our hut. But, sadly, when we got there, you were gone." Jambu gave a small whimper.

"Mom cried. And cried. And cried." Jambu said. "You were supposed to hatch that day. That day, in 20 minutes. 20 minutes!"

"Wh-What happened t-to her?" Glory asked, trying to find her voice.

Jambu balled up his front talons on the floor. "She disappeared. She never woke up the next day. Because she wasn't there. She didn't make me stay with her all day. Because she wasn't there."
Jambu cried.

"We never knew what happened to her. But I saw a note. A note placed on the nest our eggs were laid in." The now blue dragon said. "It said, 'Jambu, I know you would come here to remember your little sister. If she ever comes back, please Jambu, do me a small favor and tell her that you two are only half-siblings. Please. I'm going to look for her. If I don't return by tomorrow morning, well, I'm sorry I couldn't say good-bye with you properly. Take good care of yourself and your sister. I know she'll come back. Raspberry.'"

Just then, Deathbringer walked into the hatchery and had wide eyes when he realized that Glory had a few tears in her eyes.

He rushed over to her and, gently, put a wings around the RainWing Queen. He turned to Jambu and asked, "What happened?"

"Just told her a story, that's all." He answered and flew out the hut.

Glory started giggling as more tears slid down her eyes. She had a big smile on her face, making no sense to Deathbringer at all.

"You're crying, while smiling and laughing." He stared. "What kind of story did he tell you?!"

Glory turned to look up at the NightWing, eyes still watery and laid her head on his shoulder.

"I'm not supposed to tell." She whispered.
