That man had played me for the last time. I was done with the constant cycle of him messing around and me forgiving him, only for him to go right back and mess around again. I got in my car and took off to a joint called Deez-Cutz. That's where my best friend works at and I needed her more than ever. I picked up my phone to let her know I was on my way, by the time I got there she was sitting in her little black chair reading the new issue of EBONY.
She looked up and her big eyes sparkled immediately. "What's good, baby girl? You look rough.. Is it that big ass mole you told me about on your-"
"No, Dee. Shit, its Kam."
She gets up from her seat to help guide me to the messed up sofa in the room that I think still had kids left on it from years before.
"Damn, Lay," Her hands gently rub my arm in an attempt to soothe me. "He doesn't deserve someone as good as you. I told you in the beginning that he's never going to stop being just another stereotypical nigga."
I nodded my head in agreement. She was right. She was always right. I look at her and sadly smirk. "I know, Dee. Thank you."
She brushes a strand of hair out of my face. She gets this weird look on her face, kind of like a constipated but sexy look and then suddenly starts placing soft kisses on my collar bone. My heart starts beating uncontrollably right then and there and I swear it was about to smack its way through my chest.
"Dee... I told you I don't run like that,"
She smirks and places another kiss on my neck, making me gasp a little.
"Dee, I-"
She hushes me as she lowers her eyes and licks her lips a little. They were looking a little dry I'm not even gonna lie.
"Relax, baby girl. I got you." And I let her do just that. I relax my stiffened muscles and finally allow myself to breathe. Her soft hands make their way into my ripped blouse and cup my breasts gently. Her kisses trace their way from my neck, to my chin then to my lips and...
"Layla,"
I look up from under Dee to see Kandy standing at the door with her jaw almost to the floor.
"What are you doing?" She questions.
What was I doing? I push Dee aside and grab Kandy's arm and drag her out the shop. "Talk to you soon, Dee."
Kandy yanks her arm away from me and I could see the pain in her eyes. Shit. "What were you guys doing, Layla?"
I drag my hand through my hair and let out a deep breath. Fuck. "Nothing, Kandy. I was talking to her about my boyfriend and she was giving me advice."
"By kissing you all over the fucking place? Lay, you told me you don't go that way! That, and I quote, "that aint my style" and that that was the reason you wouldn't be with me. What the fuck?"
"I don't, Kandy! She came onto me and it was a moment of weakness. Calm down. I told you I got a nigga anyway." I had a nigga anyway.
"Fuck you, Bitch." Kandy turns around and starts heading to wherever so I ran up and grabbed her arm again.
"Let's head to your place. I'm really not having the best night. I need you...Please?"
