Chapter 5

(Y/N)'s POV

Louise: I-I...

Louise looked at me then at Tabane as she looked back with hope in her eyes. Louise stayed quiet for a minute before I felt her arms wrap around me.

Louise: I'll stay.

(Y/N): Y-You mean it?!

She nodded as she placed a kiss on my forehead. I was thrilled to hear these words as I tightened my hug around her. I cried into her chest again, this time in happiness. However, I began to feel drowsiness washing over me. 

Louise's POV

I made up my mind on staying the IS Academy with my family and Tabane. Even if it means I have to be with those two, I can endure it. I was hugging my little brother when I suddenly felt his grip loosen up. I could hear his cries die down into soft breathing as I looked to see that he was asleep. I suppose everything took a lot out of him. Soon his IS disengaged as I held his relaxed figure. I deactivated my IS as I held (Y/N) then I turned around and started walking to everyone. Chifuyu and Raiko were cautious as Tabane was still waiting for my answer. 

Louise: Let's go back. He needs to sleep in a bed.

I said as I walked past them. It took a minute for them to register waht I just said, but they all soon came running after me. Raiko caught up first as she walked beside me.

Raiko: Wait, you decided to stay here?!

Louise: That's right. (Y/N) is here, so there is no other place for me to be.

I was about to walk out of the park when I remembered something or more someone. I turned to (Y/N)'s friends who were looking at him with concern. I walked up to them and spoke.

Louise: You two, I apologize that you had to see our family drama today, but if you want to keep in touch with (Y/N) then come to the IS Academy whenever you feel like it. I'm sure he'll be more than excited to spend more time with you two. As for now, I need to get him to sleep. Goodbye.

I stepped away from them as I walked out of the park, a moment later I heard footsteps as the others followed. Raiko and Tabane following closely behind, followed by Chifuyu, her brother and that blonde girl, and finally those two who came with Raiko. The group walked in silence as the occasional person would give us a glance since I was carrying a sleeping (Y/N). Eventually, we arrived at the train station and boarded the train that was bound for the Academy. As we took our seats and waited for the train to leave, I placed (Y/N)'s head on my lap. I looked down to see him sleeping peacefully as a smile started to form on my face. My concentration is interrupted when I felt someone sit next to me. I looked to see Tabane smiling at me.

Louise: What do you want?

Tabane: No need to be so mean Louise. I'm just happy that you will be staying is all. 

She said while I sighed. I went back to looking at (Y/N) when I felt her head leaning on my shoulder.

Louise: And what are you doing now?

Tabane: Come on, we used to do this stuff all the time.

Louise: Fine, do as you want.

I will admit, it was nice to have Tabane so close again, not that I'll say that out loud.

We rode in relative silence with only the soft breathing of (Y/N). I could feel someone staring at me. Already figuring who it could be, I looked up to see Raiko looking at me.

Louise: Is something the matter Raiko?

Raiko: I want to hold him.

Louise: No.
