chapter 1

*ally's pov*

"ally, ally" my mom whispered my name and gently shook me to wake me up. I turned to her and stretched a little. I said in a tired voice "Ya?"

"you gotta get up for school hun"

I'm fifteen now so im barely entering 10th grade. I live in LA with my mom. my dad passed at war when I was six. he was in the army. I have a great mom and a great house and an amazing boyfriend named Matt. I got out of bed rubbing my eyes and slugishly walked to my closet. I got out a black skater skirt and a white lace crop top and some black combat boots. I brushed my hair and left it down. I went downstairs and my mom had made breakfast for me. I took a couple bites and said bye to my mom and gave her a kiss on the cheek. I grabbed my penni board and skated to school

at school I mat up with my best friend Kate. I ran to gave her a hug and we talked for a little while when suddenly I was surprised by a pair of hands grab my waist and spin me around, followed by a light kiss from Matt I said hi and kissed him again. Kate just smiled. the bell rang and we all went our seperate ways.

*after school*

the bell rang and I went to go find Matt and Kate. I found them and we had to wait for Kate's boyfriend lance. lance came and we all squeezed into Matt's car. Me and Matt in the front and Kate and lance in the back. we drove to Starbucks and all got somethi g to drink then went to my house to hang out. it was a Friday so everyone planned to stay late. we sat and watched tv then when it got dark we got a scary movie to watch. I noticed that my mom hasn't come down at all since we got here. so i went to go find her. in the kitchen there was a note.

ally,

sorry I'm not home. I'm out with this guy Roger. I won't be back until tommorow. dinner is on the table.

"well my mom isnt here so I guess we can all stay the night here" I said as I smirked at Matt. Matt picked the scariest movie he could think of and popped it in. he sat next to me and scooted really close. he only likes the scary movies cuz he likes to cuddle. it got to one scary part and I screamed and hugged him tight. as more came I was almost in his lap. I had my head in his shoulder and my arms around him.

*Matt's pov*

she was so cute when she got scared. and we both knew the only reason why I picked the scary movie. I looked at her and couldn't help but smile. she was so perfect.

*allys pov*

it got to a really scary part and I jumped and screamed really loud. Matt saw me and turned it off right away. I was practically shaking. "sorry." he said as he hugged me. "it's ok." I smiled. we looked over and Kate and lance were nuzzled up and asleep on the other couch so me and Matt decided to try and sleep too. Matt kissed my forehead and said "goodnight beautiful"

*the next day*

I woke up to the blinding sun. I looked at Matt and he was still asleep. he was so cute. Matt has never said I love you to me and I have never said it to him. I think I was ready to though. Matt woke up and I stoked his hair and looked him in the eye. "morning" he smiled and pulled me in for a hug then gave me a light kiss. we all got up and Kate and lance left, but Matt wanted to stay longer. I was getting breakfast started and there was a loud noise. it startled me and Matt. we walked over and saw my mom and some man come through the door. "Oh hey honey." she looked really hung over. "we're gonna go to bed ok. i love you!" She suddenly ran back "oh! this is Roger!" the two of them then went up to her room and slammed the door shut. Me and Matt looked at each other in shock. this wasn't like my mom.
