Matsuri's Rabbit

Prologue: Pet Get~

On a street in Japan, two girls were walking together. On the left was a girl with brown hair tied into a side-tail and on the right was a girl with hair as white as snow.

"Matsuri-chan, what are you doing later?" The girl with white hair said.

The girl with brown hair, Matsuri, was shocked and inadvertently screamed, "Fubuki?!"

The girl with white hair, Fubuki, snickered. Matsuri covered her mouth and looked around, worried that she just revealed themselves.

However, she noticed that no one was looking at them. Her face darkened as she realised what happened. She was pranked!

Before she could ask, Fubuki lifted her arm which had a pink bracelet on it. She smiled in delight as she revealed, "Shion-chan made some modifications to the bracelet! Now, we can talk all we want and no one will notice!"

Matsuri sighed in exasperation. How could she forget? The company she joined was not normal.

Even though no one noticed the both of them, Matsuri still warned her friend not to do it again. If their identity was ever revealed...

Just thinking about it frightened her.

When Matsuri warned her, Fubuki reluctantly agreed but knew that Matsuri was warning her for her good.

After a brief silence, Fubuki once again asked, "What will you be doing later?"

Matsuri thought for a bit, before answering, "Streaming some Apex. Wanna join?"

Fubuki tried remembering her schedule, before replying, "Sure!"

Upon hearing Fubuki's answer, Matsuri stopped walking and smiled at Fubuki, before asking, "Off-collab?"

Fubuki replied with a smile, "No"

Walking down another street in Japan, both girls were still walking, however, Matsuri seemed a little sad.

She tried everything to get Fubuki to do an off-collab, yet it was all for naught. She did the puppy dog eyes but was rejected. She offered Fubuki food and was rejected again. She even begged on her knees and was still rejected.

"Fubukiii! It's so boring to be alone at homeeeee! Just accompany me homeeeeeee!"

Fubuki looked at Matsuri, yet she refused. She knew what would happen if she went with Matsuri, and it would be a miracle if she managed to leave in one piece.

"If you are so alone... why not buy a pet?"

Matsuri looked pitifully at Fubuki, before saying, "Can you help me find a pet?"

Fubuki agreed. So long as it did not involve her genmates house, she would be willing to help.

Matsuri was satisfied, and quickly used her phone to find the nearest pet shop, but was surprised to find that there was a pet shop near her house.

Thinking of a new plan, she unconsciously let out a smirk. Fubuki felt a chill crawl up her spine, but shrugged it off.

Upon reaching the pet shop, Matsuri quickly rushed in. As long as she did not buy any of the pets, her plan would work!

She looked around, confident that none of these pets can move her heart.

Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a little white blur. She looked in the direction of the white blur but was unable to see the culprit.

Curiosity overwhelmed her as she walked towards a cage. Inside, she saw a little rabbit, no bigger than her hand. Its fur was snow-white, just like Fubuki...

She felt her heart pound. However, she was conflicted. If she bought the rabbit, her plan would not work. Moreover, she did not know how to take care of a pet.

Suddenly, the rabbit came close to her hand, rubbing its tiny face on her hand. Feeling the fluffiness from the little rabbit, Matsuri felt as if an arrow shot her heart.

Both girls walked out of the pet store, and unlike before, a new companion appeared.

Matsuri waved goodbye to Fubuki, before making her way home. In her mind, a thought appeared.

'How do I take care of a rabbit?'

Now, for some background info. This fanfic is set after HoloCouncil's debut.

Additionally, the main character of this fanfiction is the rabbit, but it will take a while before we go into the P.O.V of the rabbit. So for now, it will be in 3rd person. Moreover, there will be magic and different worlds.

Lastly, this fanfic is not really lore accurate and will be mostly my imagination.
