29 Dinner.

Jennie had come home after spending all day with Lisa.

Each day she fell more and more in love with her.

"Good thing your home, dinner is ready." Her nana's voice takes her out of her thoughts.

"Okay, nana, let's have dinner." She says with a smile.

Jennie and her nanny were dining together in their comfortable silence. Until her nanny spoke.

"Mr. Kim told me to tell you that tomorrow you have to arrive early, since you are going out to dinner with the  Taeyhung's family, along with your friends' parents." Her nana says while she serves more soup.

Jennie tensed at hearing her father's name, she hadn't spoken or seen since the day she spoke with him.

Maybe it's just to celebrate one of her great triumphs, Jennie thought sarcastically as she rolled her eyes.

"It's okay nana, thanks." Jennie said softly.

The next day at school, Jennie had arrived at the parking lot while her friends were already waiting for her.

"Hey, you know what's about the dinner this night?" My nanny told me that my father had invited your families too. "Jennie asked as they walked towards the entrance to the school.

"No, my father just told me to get dressed properly for tonight." Irene replied as she shrugged her shoulders.

"Mine told me almost the same thing." says Wendy.

"You don't know why your old man what's us there?" Jisoo asks her.

"I have no idea." Jennie replies.

"And why don't you ask Tae ? maybe he knows something." Irene says.

"I don't know if he has already arrived, I heard he's busy with his final exams." replies Jennie.

"Let's go before they ring the bell." Says Jisoo who pushes them towards the entrance.

After school Jennie went to the lake where Lisa was waiting like always.

"Tonight my father will have a dinner, along with V's family and my friends family will be there to." Jennie tells Lisa calmly.

"It must be something important." Lisa replies as she caresses Jennie's hand.

Jennie grabs Lisa's hand and looks directly into her eyes.

"I'll end my relationship with V tonight." Jennie tells her seriously.

"Do you want me to go with you? I don't want you to be alone in case things get ugly." Lisa says as she hugs her.

"No, I'll be fine, plus my friends will be there." She replies and hides her face in Lisa's neck.

"Promise me that if anything happens, you will call me."

"I promise." replies Jennie, smiling.

In the evening, Lisa and her friends were at home without knowing what to do.

"Lisa stop walking from one place to another, you're making me dizzy." Rosé scolds her.

"I'm nervous, what if Jennie's father does something to her." Lisa says eating her fingernails.

"He won't do anything, especially if they are having dinner in a public place." Seulgi tells her.

"Speaking of dinner, I'm hungry, invite us to dinner Manoban." Joy says while rubbing her belly.

"Hey Lisa, doesn't your grandfather have some of his restaurants here in Korea?" Rosé asks while eating an apple.

"Now that you mention it, it's true, we should have dinner there, I'll ask Colin for the address, he has to know were the place is." Lisa says goes to find Colin.

"Then we'll get ready." Joy says going up stairs while Seulgi and Rosé follows her.

At the Manoban restaurant, the 3 Kim families, the Son family and the Joohyun family were already there.

"Hey Jennie, the restaurant is called Manoban just like Lisa's last name." Jisoo says quietly.

"I know, it's kind of weird, I'll ask her when I see her." She says in a low voice.

Taeyhung, Jennie, Jisoo, Irene and Wendy were sitting right side of the long table.

The sound of a fork against a glass caught everyone's attention.

"Tonight will be memorable and first of all I want to thank all of you for joining us." Jennie's father says happily.

While at the entrance of the restaurant resivian the granddaughter of the owner of the place along with her friends.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Manoban, your grandfather whenever he comes, he talks very good about you." the chef tells her

"Only Lisa please and thanks for working hard, could you guide us to the table." Lisa says kindly.

"Sure Lisa, just that a customer who frequents the restaurant a lot, has rented almost the whole place for an important event. Would you like to meet him?" The chef asks her.

"Sure, it would be nice to know who comes to the family restaurant." Lisa responds smiling.

Lisa follows him along with her friends.

"Tonight I will hand over my daughter's hand to Taeyhung so they can get married and be happy." Jennie's father says without warning.

The eyes of Jennie, Jisoo, Irene and Wendy are opened to the fullest by listening to what Jennie's father said.

None of them expected this.

Taeyhung's father takes out a black porcelain box and hands it to his son.

Jennie felt her eyes watery, for some reason something told her to turn her gaze to the entrance and she did.

She found Lisa's eyes.

Lisa was looking at the porcelain box that was in Taeyhung's hand.

Taeyhung watched where Jennie was looking.
