031 Thank you

After several minutes. Taehyung decides to speak.

"I won't do it." he says as he wipes a tear down his cheek and leaves everyone there in shock.

He walks over to Jennie's father and hands him the porcelain box and while he looks at it seriously he tells him.

"No wedding will be celebrated, that has been MY decision, Jennie has nothing to do with it and if I came to know that you have done something against Jennie, I swear that any kind of relationship and contract that relates to us will end immediately." he says firmly.

Jennie's father said nothing and leaves the restaurant without even waiting for his wife and daughter.

Jennie still can't assimilate what just happed but she reacted when she saw V leave the same way her father had left.

Without thinking twice she went after him, she needed answers, but in the process she firmly grasped Lisa's hand and took her with her.

Her friends did not hesitate to follow them.

Taehyung was about to get in his car but Jennie's voice stopped him.

"V, wait." Jennie says softly.

Nobody said anything, Taehyung was only looking down at the ground.

"Why?" Jennie asks.

Taeyhung lets out a sigh and turns to where the group of girl were.

"Because I love you but I know you won't be happy with me, like I akso know that the person next to you is the one you really love." Taeyhung replies in a neutral voice.

"How did you-"

"I saw you in the fair." Taehyung cuts her.

"V, I-I wanted t-to tell ---"

"Don't be nervous, Jennie, everything is okay" Taehyung cut her off with a smile.

"I'm so sorry V" Jennie says letting her tears fall.

"I have nothing to forgive you Jenjen." Taeyhung says with tearful eyes.

Jennie cries more because she heard the nickname that V gave her since they were kids.

Lisa just stroking Jennie's hand with her thumb.

"Forgive me for not being able to love you as you wanted, forgive me for everything." Jennie tells him through tears.

"Do not cry please, I don't like to seeing you cry, it's my fault." Taehyung tells her as he wipes away his tears.

The two let out their tears as they saw each other.

"It was my fault because I knew from the beginning that you didn't love me in the same way that I did and yet I ask you to be my girlfriend." V says as he plays with his hands.

"I don't want to lose you V, you're someone very important to me, you're like my big brother." Jennie tells him softly and it was true what she said, she didn't want to lose her friend.

"You won't Jenjen, one day I promised you that I would always be with you and I will fulfill it, I will be with you whenever you need it." he says smiling.

Jennie releases Lisa's hand and walks towards Taehyung and hugs him.

"Thank you." She says as he hugs him tightly.

"You don't have to thank me, I want you to be very happy." V responds while the hugging her back.

Her friends watched them touched while Lisa did it with a smile.

"I know you'll find someone who loves you and gives you happiness that you deserve." Jennie tells him giving him a kiss on the his cheek.

"I hope so too" he replies as he releases a small laugh.

"Thanks." That was Lisa's voice.

Jennie and Taeyhung let go of their embrace and Taeyhung walks towards Lisa.

"Please make her happy and don't let anything or anyone hurt her." Taeyhung says softly.

"I will, I promise." Lisa responds as she smiles.

"Thank you." V says as he bows slightly and then walks to his car.

"I'll see you at school and Lisa, I hope we get to be good friends." V tells Lisa.

"Sounds great." She responds with a smile.

Taehyung says goodbye with his hand, gets into his car and goes away from the place.

"Well that was intense." says Jisoo as she approaches Rosé who receives her with a smile and open arms.

"He's a great guy" says Joy, who is holding Wendy's arms.

"He is, V has always been kind-hearted since he was a kid." Irene says as she walks towards Seulgi.

"You're beautiful in that dress." Seulgi says in her ear, making Irene blush and she hides her face in Seulgi's neck.

"Are you okay?" Lisa asks Jennie as she grabs her hand.

"I'm fine." Jennie replies, giving her a small kiss on the lips and hugging her tightly.

Of course she was fine but a part of her was still worried about what her father will say or do.
