Chapter 6: The first ordeal

SUNSET

There I saw a priest that holds a staff and told something privately.

“You should be ready right now. An ordeal waits for no one.”

My apprentice called me to go so I left the priest. But it was just a disguise he began to stop the illusion and he was a ninja. He was Okame, a two-handed swordsman. Jerry began hiding to prepare a strategy and start to learn its attacks.

“Everyone take your positions.”

By this time I gave them swords that are applicable to them. I gave a Katana to Drei; Gauntlets to Derrick; Sashes with hidden chain blades to Halley; Sword with boomerang to Abby; Kurisugama to Wallace; and Tiger claws to Theena.

Okame first attacked Theena and Derrick but it’s was guarded by the boomerang of Abby when she threw it. Then Drei was about to backstab him but Okame dashed away to evade him and slashed him. While that happened I was charging my chi to prepare my sealing technique. Halley released her chains to seal, Wallace also helped with his weapon but the all the chains broke because of too much contact with him. All of them did some team attacks but none of that work.

“All of you, attack of the six blades!”

They did that but Okame’s guard was tough. I finished charging my chi and also Jerry finished gathering info.

“Try putting attributes in every attack.” Jerry said.

We all did it and it worked at first. But it just drained our energy. It has a dark attribute.

“Ok! Go to sealing formation guys. Wallace and Halley, chain!”

They start chaining him. I activated my zen mode and attacked him making him weak. We all made circle. Then we begin with a chant to the elements. We all shouted. “Eight-sided divine sealing technique!” Then we finished him but it was just an illusion. And it’s made by some ryrist I know. Then he suddenly appeared.

“Dylan?”
