Food. This one noun has the ever lasting power to turn my no into yes, conditions apply. So yes after completing the first half of my classes I directly entered the only love of my life, that is canteen.
Canteen is the love of my life. On entering, I spotted, Swara sitting with Maya and Tia eating her meal, collecting my meal I sat with them too.
"So, whats the hot topic for today?'' I asked munching my burger.
Hot topic, Ragu we have a whole mug of hot coffee ready,'' Shona exclaimed rubbing her palms.
"What?"
"Seriously Ragini, where are you living?. Haven't you seen the new entrants. Gosh, our college's temperature just rose ten times higher," Tia filled in.
"Hotter?" I asked.
"Yes, haven't you heard about Laksh and Sanskaar?," Maya ushered as she giggled.
"So? Are they the reason of all the whisperings going on here?" I asked curiously.
"Yes, obviously. The school got hotter. The plastics have already taken a bet stating who will date them first," obviously the hot males and the plastics are a trend, aren't they?
"I had no idea. Seriously them? Do you all actually classify them as hot,'' I stated.
"What? They are not hot? Ragu wake up, they are hot, hotter actually hottest," Shona dreamt.
I could see drool on her face.
"Laksh and Sanskaar are not hot for god's sake. They are just those males who might have the grace of God thus they were gifted better looks. That's it. Now let me have my food," I continued eating.
"I like Sanskaar, more though," Swara offered.
"I will anytime go for Laksh. For the height and body he has all." Maya responded.
Sanskaar.
Laksh.
"Okay guys. Just calm down. Frankly, and bitterly, they both will go for the plastics. And we all know that so relax,'' I had to break the bubble of their dreams.
"Yeah you are right," they all supported.
Eating the meal I actually started thinking about them. Not 'they' I meant all the seven new entrants. The challenge, the case I had. The Gay Mission. On thinking about it. The name really needed editing. But who can it be. Just imagine if either Laksh or Sanskaar were gay, what would happen to the girls, except me, ofcourse.
"Listen, listen and listen. The students, Kavya has announcement to make," some one shouted from the back.
On turning we saw the plastics gathering around Kavya, Kavya Malhotra.
"My fellow peers, you all have an idea about HEARTY LOVE. Oh, don't even bother saying no. We all know it, yet its identity is unknown. Last year we all got an email stating that now we have some to share our problems and that apparently came with a name of HeartyLove, how childish. But since then this curiosity to know who actually is hidden behind this mask arouse. Am I right?" Kavya threw the words.
'Yes' was heard from all around. Even Shona, Maya and Tia gave an affirmative response. And here I was battling with my conscience about what to do, but what Kavya further announced was enough for me to realize.
I have two cases and not one.
"So, some of us proposed to Miss Helen, our vice principal, to organize a competiton. And this will consist that the one who will find who this HeartyLove is will get a prize. And believe me that the prize is big, and it is related to farwell. The one who will disclose this secret will get an upper hand for the selection of farewell Jr. king or queen. So ladies and men, brush yourself. As this is. FINDING HEARTY LOVE," she concluded.
As soon as she said farewell I swear I could see everyone's eyes shining brightly!
But she didn't conclude, for sure,
She exploded a bomb on me. Now. Ragini Kapoor brush yousrself as even a single mistake will lead to the end of you secret happy life.
"Wow, truly I am dying to know about this HeartyLove. I mean that person has helped so many people yet he/she wants to be hidden. Why? Its not like that she/he would be punished or so," Swara, said eating.
So little you know my friend!
"But why does it matter, let it be who it is. Maybe that person doesn't want to reveal himself. We should respect it," I tried convincing.
"No chance, I ain't letting this opportunity to pass and neither am I letting you. Ragu you are gifted. You can easily find the person. Just take it as a case and I can guarantee that you will the only one who could find HeartyLove. Just imagine you being the farewell queen and Laksh the farwell king, perfect," Swara, chanted.
"Eeeww, jr. farewell, Swara get up to reality neither am I going to find heartylove nor am I standing for farewell jr. queen and Laksh, I would really appreciate if you kindly keep your crush to yourself."
"Ragini Kapoor, I challenge you to find Hearty Love. Let me also see whether you really are talented or the rumours are really rumours," I heard Kavya commenting.
Can this girl leave me alone please?
She has been holding a grudge against me ever since I helped her ex-boyfriend find that she was cheating on him.
Not my fault! He came with a case, I accepted. Simple.
"Kavya. I pity you. I wonder if I actually find heartylove you will lose the chance of being jr. queen. Tsk tsk so sad," I commented rudely.
So yes, indirectly I did accept her challenge!
What challenge? Is finding yourself is a challenge. God I really need to get out of this but I can't lose. Especially , from this plastic, never.
But seriously for prom?
But she challenged my detective skills!
But this might end badly.
"The games onn, my friend. So excited," Kavya replied and left the cafeteria.
"Ahaa, that's like my girl. I am so proud Ragu. You will win for sure,"
Obvioulsy I will. But how?

Ragini you really are in a deep shit right now. Oh wait, have I told you that the lunch is also over.
And I haven't completed my meal, yet!
