3rd  Pov.

When Shinsa was 13 years old, she joined an elite unit of Shinobi whose main job was to prevent another war from breaking out. Those Shinobi would work outside the village, and put an end to any sort of rebellion that had a goal to start another Great War.

"Uchiha-san," the voice of the shop vender grabbed the attention of the pre-teen who was lost in thought. Remembering where she was, Shinsa quickly paid for the groceries, and made her way back to her home that was located near the Kage manor. Being a student of the 4th Hokage, and one of the key factors of ending the Great War, had its benefit.

"This should be everything Mother needed." Shinsa muttered to herself while looking at the bag hanging from her wrist. She heard her name being called on her walk, and turned around to see a brown haired shinobi of similar age calling out to her. Instantly her eyes narrowed. She didn't even try to hide her dislike. "Nohara."

Rin faltered upon hearing the tone in Shinsa's voice. The coldness in it was still hard for her to get used to.

"Since we haven't spoke lately..." the brown haired Kunoichi felt her ears begin to burn red due to how anxious she was beginning to feel. "C-can I walk you home?" she forced herself to finish her sentence. Rin finally looked back at Shinsa, and saw that her face didn't even so much as twitch from its expression. The look of disdain hadn't so much as budged.

"No." After giving out her answer, Shinsa turned around. Her entire body tensed when she felt her former teammate grab her arm.

"Come on! We used to walk home together all the time! Why are you acting like this?" Rin demanded. Her crestfallen expression was replaced with that of frustration.

Shinsa released a sigh, and closed her eyes to calm herself. If it was weeks ago, she would have probably thrown Rin off of her, and yelled, but in a way, Shinsa had changed. She opened her mouth to reply,

"That's because we were with Obito." That one sentence was all it took for Rin to let go of Shinsa, and take a step back. Grief and guilt was shown clearly on her face.

The way Shinsa mentioned his name sent a chill down her spine. Just days prior, Shinsa couldn't even bear to speak of him without her face showing despair. She refused to even mention him, knowing that she would show her emotions. Her weaknesses. Her vulnerability.

After all, he was her first love.

Now her words held no emotion. It wasn't cold or dark. There was nothing Rin could pick up from it, making the white haired Uchiha seem terrifying.

Shinsa opened her mouth to speak, but slowly all around her started to fade away. Rin disappeared along with Konoha, and suddenly she woke up.

Now-

By the time the hour hand hit 2 pm, Shinsa got out of the bed she was in, her feet hitting the cold floor.

Her head hurt from the dream she had. It always did whenever she dreamt of her past. Especially the ones filled with her dead teammates.
