My shoes are echoing in the expensive marble of the IRWIN company while I am making my way to the main secretary in order to be informed about my office and schedule . Whereas I am walking down the corridor I can't do nothing else but admire the beauty of this building .Everything seem to be into place ,from the massive and expensive paintings in the walls to the gold chandeliers hanging from the high ceiling !!
Soon enough for my liking though I am standing in front of the secretariat . An old lady with gray hair who seems to be too consumed in her work that didn't notice me coming .
"Hmm, excuse me ?"
"How can I help you ? " she asks while still typing on her computer
" I am the new lawyer assistant . I was hired a week ago " I inform her
"Ohh mrs alex brown isn't it ?"
"Yes ,that's me "
"Well , nice to meet you mrs alex .."
"Alex please "
""Oh sorry ,nice to meet you Alex then , your office is down the hall the last door on your left . as for your schedule you will get informed by mr irwin "
With a nod and a thank you I start traversing the long corridor to get in my office . I am wandering how is this mr irwin for whom I will be working for .He must be really old to own a place like this .
As I enter my office I can't help but let out a sigh of excitement along with some "wows" . This office is bigger than my hole apartment . it has these huge glass windows that helps you admire the beauty of the city ,a very big glass table in the middle and a lot of shelves that are probably blank in order to be filled with my own belongings . However, the thing that amazes me most after the huge windows is the white leather chair behind my desk like the ones you see in the movies .
I was so consumed in my own thoughts that I hadn't paid notice to someone clearing their throats behind me . And that someone was surprisingly the most beautiful man I have ever seen in my life . Brown Carly messy hair that fall in his forehead , big hazel eyes , pink full lips and very tall .
"Do you like it ?" the handsome man asks me with a smile . (oh and also the most amazing smile and dimples that I have ever observed in someone may I add .)
"Ehmm , yeah it-it coul-couldn't be better "
I can't even form proper words in front of him .what has gotten into me I was never like this in front of men .
"Nice , because you will be spending a lot of time here for the next year and years let's hope "he giggles ??
"Ohh, and sorry I didn't introduce myself . Ashton Irwin , and let me also add that is a pleasure to meet you mrs Brown . " The handsome man who happens to be my boss informs me .....
