"Hmm,i am Alex .... "I start to introduce myself but he interrupts me mid-sentence
" I know who you are mrs.brown I am the one who chose you " he smiles
"Ohh, yeah ..."I mutter while trying to look anywhere but his eyes , something he seems to notice because he chuckles quietly to himself .
"So Alex ,if you let me call you by your first name ,"
"Yes of course "I interrupt him
"Good,"he smiles "So, I got the day off for today in order to show you around and for you to be more familiar with the place . consequently , we will spend the rest of the day exploring and you start working tomorrow ,ok?"
"Yeah,of course that's good with me ,i would like to get a full view of the building ( and spend more time with you ) my subconscious adds"
"Perfect , shall we begin the guidance then ?" he asks me bringing in hole view his dimpled smile that I have already adored !!

The rest of the day was spent like this . Mr.irwin guiding me around the building and explaining some things about the job to me and me watching in awe and nodding in response . I have to admit for one more time that this building is better than any other I have ever seen . It has literally everything even a small cafeteria like thing were the employes spend some of their lunches or even dinners when they have a lot of
work to do and can't leave the office .
We are now on the top floor of the company and as I turn right I can see a woman behind a desk . She must be the clerk of Ashton's father . My assumption is being confirmed when Ashton speaks like he has read my thought .
"This is Martha she works for the "big boss" '' he loughs . But why is he calling his father "big boss" ? anyway .....
"Hello, Martha ,this is Alex my new assistant ."
"Nice to meet you beautiful , welcome to the company " she smiles and gives me her hand to shake in witch I respond immediately .
"Thank you "I smile at her in appreciation ."And this ?" I ask Ashton gesturing to the huge Door at the end of the left corridor .
"This is my uncles or as I call him "big bosses " office ." he informs me
"Your uncles ? Sorry , I don't want to sound rude but I thought your father owned the place "
"Ermm,he coughs "yeah, my father passed away 20 years ago in a car accident with my mother and since then my uncle has taken his place " he frowns and I immediately regret that I asked him something like this in the first place .
"I'm really sorry , I didn't know "
"It's okay Alex, I barely even remember them I was like 6 years old then ." he smiles to me obviously to make me not feel bad for asking but it's not that dimpled smile of his "Anyway, the big time is now , come to meet the 'big boss '".he says waving his hand in front of his face like someone does when they announce the name of someone special .
We walk down the corridor and Ashton doesn't even knock on the door before bursting into his uncles office . When we enter the office a tall man is standing in front of the huge glass windows talking on the phone .He gestures for us to take a sit and we do as he says . While he is busy talking on the phone I take a moment to observe him . He has dirty blonde hair like Ashton's but his is straight instead of curly . He also has bright blue eyes . Generally, he is a very handsome man .
After about 5 minutes he hungs up the phone and comes to sit on his chair .
"So , you must be Alex , my nephews new assistant ,right ?" he smiles .
"Yes, that's me ." I return the smile
"I am Jack irwin but I assume you already know me as the 'big boss' ,am I wrong ?"he asks raising an eyebrow at his nephew .
"Erm , well .....sort of "
"Please don't be shy Alex my nephew has the habit to introduce me to everyone with his nickname for me . Witch I find quite funny myself , when practically I shouldn't " he loughs
"Yeah , whatever uncle . So, this is Alex you wanted to meet her and your request got completed now we have to go "Ashton says while sitting up from the chair and gestures me to do the same to witch I follow .
"It was really a pleasure to meet you mr.irwin "
"The pleasure was mine " mr.irwin respond and before I know it we are out of his office and down to our offices .
"So, that is the head behind this business "ashton loughs and I join him."hmm, I was thinking earlier that I have nothing to do tomorrow night and you schedule is being controlled by me so you are free too..... and I would like to invite you for dinner at my place..if you desire of course ? ."he half asks and I am taken aback by his question . I have just met him and he asks me out (or in because he mentioned his house but anyway he asked me for dinner and that's the point) . I must have zoomed out for a little while because he coughs behind me searching for an answer .
"Ohh, sorry I was just taken aback by your question . ....However, I would love to come . " I smile to him .
"Perfect , I will tell my driver to come and pick you up at 7 if that's ok with you "
"Yes it's ok but you don't have to send your driver I can take my car "
"No I insist ,besides it would be easier than driving on your own and having high possibilities of getting lost " he reassures me to witch I respond with a nod
"Ok then ,thank you "
And after that the two of us walk out of the company and to the parking lot mostly talking about what he should cook tomorrow . Another surprise ,he can cook .
"So, goodnight Alex I will see you tomorrow morning "
"Goodnight ,mr. irwin "
"Please call me Ashton "
"Emm, yeah sure goodnight ashton "I smile and he winks? to me before getting in his car and speeding off the parking lot . I do the same and can't stop but thinking at how perfect my first day in the company was . I was even asked out for dinner from my boss .
