𝓻𝓸𝓸𝓶𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓮

taehyung woke up to music blasting through his phone. it was his roommate calling. the same roommate that hasn't been back in months. the same one who hasn't paid any rent in the time he's been gone.

taehyung rubbed his eyes as he pressed the 'answer' button.

"taehyuuuung!" god his voice was so annoying. maybe taehyung was alright with him being gone. except for the fact that he was having to pay
550,000 won of rent himself.
(a/n: that's like $500 USD)

"where the hell are you taeyong??" taehyung sounded dry and rude, but it's not like he cared.

"oh shit what?" it was obvious he was having a conversation with someone next to him, or at least trying to. "ah, sorry hyung! listen, i know i've been gone but um...i'm not coming back." the boy on the other end sounded careless and wreckless.

taehyung wanted to ask why, or maybe where the hell he was, but he simply hung up. he'd had enough of that boy.

now he needed someone to move in with him so he could afford to keep this roof over his head (no matter how shitty the roofing is).

the boy didn't really have friends. he wasn't out much, so the only social interaction he really got was at the strip club. and that's pretty sad.

now, he didn't want to call up hoseok, but he needed money and he's who he first thought of.

jin was the most well off. he actually had a college education behind him and, being the eldest, had the most amount of money grossed up.

jimin currently had his place living with a sugar daddy. albeit, the older man wasn't all the attractive or nice, but that's why they're called sugar daddies. they aren't in it for love. neither of them are. they're in it for mutual gain.

hoseok was kind of a wild card. he had had some schooling beyond the walls of high school, but he dropped out fairly quick. now, he surfed couch-to-couch anywhere he could. he'd never been able to hold down a steady job until he found stripping, and why not capitalize your body for profit?

and taehyung was just taehyung. family life complicated, couldn't afford college, lived off ramen, and had no friends. he didn't find himself to be anything special, and no one really did either.

but good things come in time.

the phone rang for quite awhile before hoseok picked up. he sounded just as sleepy as taehyung did, so maybe he accidentally woke the elder up.

"you never call." he sounded genuinely surprised a fellow stripper had contacted him. they all switched numbers whenever someone new joined. for safety reasons mostly.

"well..." taehyung didn't know how to word the whole 'wanna move in with me' thing without sounding like he wanted more after the sexual tension scene the day before. "my roommate just left me and i can't afford rent on my own so.."

luckily hoseok seemed to get the message. "you—you looking for another roommate then?"

"yeah! we split rent 350,000 each."

"guess i could handle that. might need to take up more nights."

taehyung nodded his head, despite the elder not being able to see him. "cool...i'll text you the address."

they finished the call and tae laid back on his bed. he felt good about actually doing something
adult-like for once in his life. he would have a new roommate (one that he actually liked and trusted), and he didn't have to worry about rent.

hoseok was knocking at the front door in twenty minutes time. guess you could say he was actually a bit excited to be moving in with taehyung.

but maybe he was getting the wrong idea.
