"i promise you'll like it." yugyeom said for, what seemed like, the millionth time.

"you said that last time." jeongguk rolled his eyes, still not unbuckling his seatbelt (he was stingy like that).

"jeongguk, we're already here." yugyeom pouted. "plus, last time it was a female strip club. maybe you'll like this one more."

jeongguk pondered that. maybe he would prefer the male strip club. but then again, he didn't know what he preferred. male or female, jeongguk had never dated anyone. not that he wasn't attractive, that definitely was not the case, but he somehow always scared people off.

maybe because he was just a scary guy, though he'd argue against that.

"jeonggukiiie come on." yugyeom pulled at his friends arm.

friends. that's all the two were, though maybe yugyeom wanted more, but he'd never say anything. they were each other's only friend and he couldn't let that be ruined by his feelings.

"fine." jeongguk spat, finally unbuckling the black strap crossing his body, after a good twenty minutes of sitting in the parking lot.

as the two walked to the front entrance, jeongguk looked at the place in mild disgust. it looked really dingy and old for a strip club. the only remarkable thing about it was it's neon sign, which was barely hanging onto the front of the building.

"'drinks & twinks'??" jeongguk read off the neon pink sign "really?" he deadpanned.

"oh hush." yugyeom rolled his eyes, opening he door for his friend.

the inside wasn't much better than the outside. the carpet was black with swirls of deep red. the walls were painted a deep shade of purple, though most of the paint was peeling off in large flakes.

there was a bar to the right of the entrance and a large stage adjacent to that. tables and couches circled the stage, which was the only thing that looked orderly in this place.

there were some jackpot slots near the bar and a hallway which led to private rooms, bathrooms, and the strippers dressing room.

it was quite a lot for an inexperienced eye to take in. jeongguk hadn't even noticed the 'o' shape his mouth was making until yugyeom forced it closed.

"you're gaping...not what you expected?" yugyeom laughed dryly, making his way to the bar.

jeongguk followed, trying to hide his true emotion. "it's alright."

they ordered some mixed drinks that they'd never heard of and found a seat on a ripped up leather couch.

this place wasn't comparable to other south korean gay bars because there weren't any others. there might be a few other underground ones like this, but this bar was korea's shining jewel for gay bars.

sad right?

"i was gonna bring you to twink night last week but you ended up being busy." yugyeom put air quotes around 'busy' and rolled his eyes. "this show doesn't have a theme."

jeongguk nodded. he was about to say something, but the lights dimmed and music started playing.

the young man watched as a male in barely any clothing strutted out onto the stage. his mouth was agape again, but yugyeom didn't bother fixing it this time.

another man followed that one, and another after that. now, three men were up on stage in frilly clothing and leather dancing on the poles.

but then, the world stopped.

the curtain flew open to reveal the most beautiful man jeongguk had ever seen.

he had black leather shorts on, hugging his ass and letting a bit of cheek peek out the bottom. a sheer white shirt clung to his honey skin, showing off his pierced nipples. he had smokey purple eyeshadow on and dark lipstick. his hair was dirty blonde and looked slightly wet and ruffled up. his eyelids were lidded and jeongguk swore they made eye contact.

yugyeom looked to his friend who looked like he had just nut his pants. he leaned over, resting a hand on the boy's thigh. "you like what you see?" yugyeom whispered.

jeongguk couldn't even respond, he simply gave a dumb nod, not breaking eye contact with the man on stage.

the speakers had announced the mans name, but jeongguk was so focused on his look, that he didn't even catch it. tae...something?

jeongguk watched in amazement as this tae person worked the metal pole expertly, all while not breaking eye contact.

this man found jeongguk to be just as beautiful, but of course he didn't know that.

time flew by, and before he knew it strippers started exiting the stage one by one.

first to leave was a broad-shoulder, black-haired man, then a short blonde, followed by a smiling red head.

the last to leave was the tae person. he looked out to the crowd, specifically, at jeongguk, and blew the boy a kiss.

jeongguk felt his heart explode and smiled at the man before watching him turn around and leave the stage.

"i wanna talk to him." jeongguk said quietly, once the lights turned back on.

"huh?" yugyeom didn't quite catch what he said, but his friend ignored him.

jeongguk stood up, mouth still open. he mumbled something that yugyeom, once again, didn't catch, and walked off.

"gguk where're you going??" yugyeom watched as the boy walked to the hallway where the bathrooms and changing rooms were.

"oh no." he said to himself, seeing his friend reach for the handle of the door labeled 'strippers only'.
