This morning I had attempted to enjoy the quiet in the air and the fresh sunrise peaking through the window. I had fallen asleep on Seamus' chest, getting lulled to sleep by the soft sound of his breathing, and waking to the same rhythm. It was peaceful, but no, I can't have peace.

Aleks woke me up and dragged my out of bed. I wasn't even awake enough to ask why, but there I was, still in the same clothes as yesterday as we stood in the abandoned warehouse. We don't come in here because Kevin warns us otherwise. When Kevin tells you not to go somewhere, it's best to listen.

Now, why I let myself be alone with Aleks in a place we shouldn't be, that was a good question. Maybe I've just given up on my safety. It wouldn't be a surprise if my subconscious found it overrated.

He pushed something in front of the door, causing a terrible screeching noise across the floor. I cringed, feeling that wretched noise shake my bones. The room was dark, and dust slowly wafted in view as they passed through the few rays of light cracking through barricaded windows. It just occurred to me, he blocked the only exit. I was trapped in a box with a maniac. Could he say the same? Probably.

Aleks walked over to me, tightly grasping my upper arms with his hands as he looked deep in my eyes. "What I'm about to tell you, you can never repeat to anyone. You understand me?"

I nodded, feeling him release his grip. He walked over to the light switch, flipping it on. Like an old car starting, the power hummed and had to push itself. Eventually the dim and blinking lights filled the space, and what surrounded me was the most terrifying beauty I've ever seen. Writing all along the walls, which I should come to expect from Aleks, but it was different.

Everything had been written in silvers and golds, giving the impression of an old temple or something. It wasn't incoherent scribbles like anything I've seen out of him. This was scriptures, written with patterns surround them. Symbols I've seen somewhere else, but couldn't place, were covering the walls and even the floor.

"What the Hell is this, Aleks?" I asked, partly in awe, but mostly in shock.

"This, is you. I figured it out. I can write and write for days, weeks, months, until I get what piece makes sense and this is all that makes sense, but it's your life. I figured it out, Slayer. I see other people's lives in fragments, and yours is the one that I saw the whole picture for once. I know what you are now, and you're more than you think." He explained.

I shook my head, staring at him. "You're fucking crazy, Aleks."

"Slayer please listen to me. I know this doesn't make sense to you but it does to me and you, you're the one that all those old legends speak of."

"What?" I gasped out of confusion.

He sighed. "You're the one that causes the end... of the world."

"You've really lost it." I spoke in terror as I walked backwards towards the door. "You're fucking nuts, Dude." I pushed back the shelve blocking the door, suddenly finding the strength to move it. It's amazing what you can muster when you're angry and scared all at once.

"Annabelle, wait! Listen to me!" He yelled after to me as I ran out the door.

I kept running until I had reached the infirmary. My home had never felt so welcoming before now. I burst into Seamus' work space, fighting for my breath. He stood up, approaching me like I was a deer ready to flea any moment. Seamus grabbed my shaky hands, staring at me in concern.

"Woah, settle down. What happened?" He asked.

"Nothing. Just... Nothing." I stammered.

"This doesn't look like nothing." He said. "Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yeah, I-I'm fine. Just a little spooked. I could use some coffee or tea or something."

He nodded, pulling me over to the table, because he didn't have anywhere else for me to sit. I hopped up, trying to take deep breaths. Aleks is crazy, he's crazy. I've always known there was something different about me, but that's not it. He's just delusional.

Seamus handed me a cup of tea, steaming hot. I felt some nerves relax as I took a drink, thanking him. He's always there for me, no matter what. I'll always be able to count on him, which is a trait the others fail to have or see. Thank God I have Seamus, or else I'd go crazy myself.

Fuck this piece of shit chapter. I'm sucking ass at this story, sorry guys. If you have any ideas for chapters, DM me :)
