Chapter Three - Let the Games Begin

POV of Kat Morgan

Surprisingly over the past week Jax and I have become very close again. We've spent time together hung out and just had fun. It is like the old days again. The door bell rings and I go to answer it. "Hey sexy." Jax says as I answer.

"Oh hey?" I ask.

"Can you do me a favour?"

"Maybe. What is it?"

"Can you drive me to the airport? I have to pick up some people and I don't have my car because it is in the shop." Jax says

"Um sure I will tell the kids do you think we will need another car?"

"Um yes I think we might need another car."

"Okay I will tell Axel and he can drive one car." I say. I tell Jax to come inside and go to find Axel. I find both Axel and Serenity in Serenity's room. I can hear that they are whispering about something. I knock on the door and go in. "Hey kids. Your father needs a ride to the airport to pick some one up. Anyway we need to take two cars so can you drive Axel?" I ask.

"Yep." Axel answers.

"Can I come to?" Serenity asks.

"If you want to." I say heading back down stairs.

We arrive at the airport 20 minutes before we actually needed to be there, due to the fact Axel and I were dragging. "I'm going to go check out some of the shops around here." Serenity informs.

"Axel go with her." I say as serenity walks away. Axel rolls his eyes but does as I say. "Want a coffee?" Jax asks.

"Yes please." I answer. Jax goes and gets our coffees we sit down in some of the chair and talk. We laugh so much I almost cry. The announcement thingy goes off and Jax says that the people he was waiting on was in that flight. I told him to go and I would just grab my stuff, so he did. I stuff the magazine I got into my handbag, put my sun glasses on top of my head and I grab my still full 3rd coffee takeaway cup and go see Jax and the people we were waiting on. As I approach I see a woman around the same age as Jax and two kids a boy around 7 and a girl around 6. I awkwardly walk over. "I'm so glad we're here now I missed you." I hear the woman say. I stand awkwardly towards the back. "Kat come over here. Kat this is Janice, Janice this is Kat." Jax introduces us. "Oh and this is Trent and Bliss." Jax tells me the name of the boy and girl. I smile at all of them, "Hi nice to meet all of you." I say.

"So how do you know Jax?" Janice ask.

"I'm -" I don't get to finish.

"Kat is an old friend of mine." Jax says.

"We've been married and together for almost 9 years now and I'm still meeting old friends of Jax's." Janice says. Well I guess she would meet a lot of Jax's friend since she married him. Wait! She is his wife! Oh hell no. Heck I'm still his fucking wife I never got him to sign the divorce papers. I'm about to speak but Axel and Serenity come over and speak before I can. "Mum we have a problem." Serenity informs.

"What type of problem?" I ask.

"Um a really bad problem. Like we should get going problem." Axel says.

"What do you mean?" I question.

"We, um ran into some," Serenity looks anywhere but at me trying to find the way to put what she is wanting to say. "People. Yeah people and um yeah we should go. Like now!" Urgency clear in her voice. I'm guessing that they ran into enemy gang members. "Oh okay well has everyone got their bags? Yes, good. Let's go." I say trying to get everyone out. We make it to the parking lot then the gun fire starts. Oh shit, shit, shit, shit. "Oh my god what's happening!" Janice screams. Everyone drops to the ground. I pull my hand gun out of the back of my jeans. I start firing along with Axel and Serenity who did the same as me when I got my gun out. "Jax what the hell is happening?" Janice asks panicked.
