"Well you've been in a coma for 2 months now. After being kicked in the head, it caused your brain to swell, which is what caused the coma. Ma'am, a woman beaten like you were is very lucky to have lived! But good thing the bastard is in jail and shouldn't be coming home anytime soon."
"So when can I go home?" I asked really wanting this man out of my face.
"Well now that you're awake, we see that there's not memory lost. You may still have a tiny concussion, so try not to lift heavy things or even bump your head but for the most part you can go home tomorrow morning." He said smiling.
"I'm cool with that, thanks doc"
"You're welcome, I'll send your nurse in to check on you and give you dinner" he said exiting the room.
