This story starts unlike any other as a detached young witch with no perspective on life is planning to end the world; her perception of things around her are deluded. High on a Mountain terrain in the Rockies of Everlasting; where this witch resides, an adventurous young man climbed though on a life defining journey with his best friend at his side. They eventually stumbled upon the young witch's home to which was also a lair of sorts. Unbeknownst of them it appeared to be just a cave as they looked around for a bit to make sure it was a good place to rest.

They decided to camp there for the night as a bizarre storm had just suddenly appeared. Luckily for them they were already safe inside the cave.

So they thought.

Meanwhile the young witch was there within the walls of the cave almost complete with her plans, unknowing of the visitors that lay outside her door. This door wasn't visible to the eye so it's easily missed; it was made with magic so nothing got in and nothing got out unless she wished it be.

As she finished up what she needed inside she had began to head outside for the biggest part of her plan. She then stopped in her tracks when she saw a young man and his wolf. He looked to her completely and utterly confused as they had checked earlier and nothing was there, how was it a little girl walked out from a door? The wolf looked just as confused as the young man as he did not smell her scent till she came through the door that was not there earlier.

They stared at each other for a bit longer as the young witch seemed to analyze these two as if they were nothing but things. The young man had blue eyes that of the ocean and dark brown hair that seemed almost black he was taller than her by about foot and she was only 4'8, he had a light tan to his skin, he seemed to be around his teen age years, he wore a black leather jacket, black T-shirt, dark blue jeans, black combat boots, he had his ears gaged and he had dog tags around his neck. His partner was a dark grey wolf with shades of him darker or lighter in other areas, his eyes were a snowy grey and the tip of his left ear was clipped.

As the young man and his wolf stared intensely at her he noticed she could only be younger than him by a few years why did she have such light silver hair as if it was almost white? Her eyes were maroon, and her skin almost pale as a ghost, he was a bit confused by why she wore something so mid-evil like, black corset with red laces, black Celtic arm bracers with red laces along the black sleeve, a black skirt about 5 inches from her knee, black fairy laced ballet shoes, a black witches hat with a red ribbon wrapped around with a silver cross on the left side of her hat from his point of view, she also had a silver chain hooked around her waist, her ears pierced with silver cross studs, and around her neck a black choker with a silver cross hanging from where smaller silver chains looped from the middle of her choker, she also seemed to have a silver ring with what looked like to be a flower with a small sized Ruby in the center on her right pinky and a metallic looking band on her index on her left.

She had spoken to him but he didn't realize as he continued to watch her confused and amazed. She spoke again but louder this time and it was like something went off and knocked him back, as he began to sit back up to stand up he noticed she was completely composed so the effects of what happened only happened to him and his friend. He began to respond, "I... I'm sor-", she looked upset she then began to yell, "NO EXCUSES! WHY ARE YOU HERE? WHO ARE YOU?... are you with the hunters and how did you find me?". He was shocked how did she know he was a hunter he looked down he was wearing his dog tags, he thought to himself it was mandatory that Hunters wore these at all times even if retired, she may have known he thought. He carefully spoke as he slowly realized the situation he was in, "I'm here with my best friend ghost, and not cause we really wanted as you see there's a really heavy storm blowing by and we just needed cover. My name is Cassiel and yes we are, and we didn't find you as we said we just ducked in for cover. We didn't mean to upset you, miss."

She thought to herself , 'does he know what I am? Maybe it's okay? Maybe he won't hurt me.. what if it's just an act? Maybe he wants to kill me what should I do?' she quickly started to cast a spell and spoke, "since your a hunter I should kill you.." her parents were killed by hunters when she was younger and she didn't know what more to expect. His eyes widened just a fraction as he stood up all the way and an raised his hands midway as he quickly spoke trying to calm her down, "it's okay I'm not going to hurt you I promise.." she must have had a bad experience with hunters, he thought. Tears fell down her face as she cried, "How am I supposed to know you won't hurt me?  HUNTERS KILLED MY PARENTS!"

He looked down as it had broke his heart to know that this girl has been hurt so much by us hunters, he thought to himself for a second then spoke, "I understand it hurts I lost my parents too the only one I've ever had was myself and ghost I know what it's like to be alone.. I was alone for a long time til I found ghost.." he thought to himself more as she seemed to calm down just a bit he began to speak again, "it hurts to know that there are other people walking this world alone, and no one should ever have to be alone.." he slowly stepped forward and opened his arms for her, she released the spell and launched herself forward crying harder than before and hugged him tightly. He knew that it was good to cry but even if he wanted to cry he couldn't his tears ran out long ago, he kneeled down half way and pushed her back holding her shoulders to look her in the eye, "if you wish you can come with us.. we wouldn't mind another companion" he said to her with complete sincerity, he smiled softly as he gazed into her beautiful eyes the storm seemed to finally pass by and the sunshine shined through. She whipped her eyes smiled softly and nodded.

Facts of the story:
Hunters are a part of a military division and were more like adventures only called on when needed to fight for the military, not all hunters were alike all were completely different and rode by their own rules they had an agreement with the military that if the hunters helped the military fight with the skill set they had that the hunters would have free reign in whatever assignment or Intel they want, the hunters were only a secret organization much like spy's so no one got in and no one knew unless the hunters wanted you to know.
