It's 15.43 already, and the shop was going to be closed in 17 minutes. Sharon came everyday since that day and today will be the thirteenth day. Everyday Jane would have melonpan prepared just for Sharon, and it worked the same way today. However, she should have shown up like an hour ago, but she didn't. Jane tried her best to stay calm, waiting for Sharon to show up.

"You should be packing up already, shouldn't you? Are you waiting for someone?" her best friend asked in a mischievous tone as she glanced at Jane while unpacking the plastic cups.

"Shut up Jess" Jane replied, half annoyed. Sure her best friend has been knowing all along what's going on. "Alright alright, I'mma stop right there" Jess teased her once again before receiving a deadly glare from Jane. "You better be"

15 minutes have passed, she didn't come. "Aww don't be sad Janiekins, maybe she's busy" her friends broke the silence. "Try calling me that again you shithead"

"I should have asked for her numbers" Jane thought. All they have been doing everyday was just sitting at the same table in the corner of the shop, talking about some random stuffs, just enjoying each other's companies.

It's 6 o'clock now. The street lights are turned on and her friend left about 2 hours ago. "Did anything happen?" she tighten her grip of a pack of melonpan, started worrying after has been waiting patiently for hours. Sharon has been very punctual for the past few days they have known each other.

"Jane!" she heard a familiar sound coming from about 10 meters away. A smile suddenly appeared on her lips. She turned back to see Sharon running toward her. Sharon ran at her full speed, making herself almost trip. "I'm... s.. sorry!" she said, struggling to breath after running from meters away.

"Hey, easy" she said, chuckling. Sharon took a minute to breath and then looked up to Jane. "I'm sorry for keeping you waiting" she said with a guilty look on her face. "There was a bit of an accident" then she looked down again.

"Hey, look it's ok." Jane said, gently pat Sharon's head. The fact that Sharon is smaller and ages a year younger than her makes she feel like Sharon is her little baby. "Her hair is really soft. As soft as she is" she thought to herself.

"Here" Jane handed Sharon a melonpan, which was already cold due to the time it took to be given to the right owner. "Thank you" Sharon said as she took it from Jane.

"So, where are we going then? I thought you wouldn't show up so I" Jane said, turned back to look at the locked door of the bakery shop and turned back, shrugging and smiling softly to Sharon. "Sorry" she said it again, feeling even more guilty. "Where do you want to go?" she changed the topic when she realized she could make Jane annoyed by kept saying sorry.

"It's up to you. I don't have anything in mind at the moment" Jane said as they walked down the street. Sharon thought for a moment while unpacking melonpan. "Hmm.. can we just keep walking then? Or stop at the park or something" asked Sharon, having a bite of her melonpan "Sure, whatever you like" replied Jane.

There was no such word as awkward or uncomfortable between Jane and Sharon. A normal silent that's supposed to be awkward for everyone is still very relaxing between them. After walking for half an hour, they stopped by a coffee shop to grab something to drink, Americano for Jane and a cup of steamed milk for Sharon.

"It's on me" said Jane as they were waiting for their drinks. "No way, It's on me" Sharon immediately said as she took out her purse and handed it to the barista before Jane could say anything.

After getting their drinks, they decided to stop by the park before separately going home. "Ouch" exclaimed Jane after being burnt by a hot Americano. "This is so embarrassing" she thought to herself, unable to turn and see if the other girl is watching. "Easy Jane, I'm not stealing it from you" Sharon said and laughed at Jane's clumsiness. "C'mere, let me cool it down for you first" then she took Jane's cup, handed Jane hers and started blowing on it. Jane couldn't take her eyes off of a beautiful creature in front. Sharon is so kind, sweet and feminine. "How could someone be this perfect?"

"You can have it now" as Sharon handed Jane back a cup of Americano. "Thank you" Jane took her coffee and drank it, slowly sipping this time. They kept walking again, quietly sipping their drinks until it's cold enough to just pour into their mouths at once. They kept walking until they reached a train station.

"So that's it for today then" Sharon turned to face Jane and said, breaking the silence. "Yeah I guess" Jane replied with a small smile, a quite sad one. "Thank you for today, I had a very good time, as always" Sharon said, looking into Jane's eyes. Jane smiled back as she pat her head again, and Sharon couldn't help but smile before looking away to see if the train has arrived.

"Sharon" Jane suddenly said, grabbing Sharon hand as she was about to walk away. "I have somewhere I want to show you, meet me at the park tomorrow?" Jane asked shyly, eyes demanding for the answer, the one she wished to hear. Sharon smiled again and walked closer to Jane. They were inches away that they smelled each other's breath. "This is getting familiar" Jane thought. "Sure" Sharon whispered as she tightened their grip. "I'll see you at the park tomorrow evening, I won't keep you waiting this time, I promise" she assured, making Jane let out a wide smile.

"Oh, one more thing" Jane said as she took out her phone, making Sharon looked up in confusion. "May I have your number?" Jane said bashfully and handed Sharon her phone. Sharon took it and took a minute to type. "Here" she said as she finished typing and returned the phone back to the owner.

As the train arrived, they broke away from each other before Sharon made her way toward the train. "Bye" Jane said and waved as Sharon got into the train and was going to leave. "Bye Jane" Sharon replied, waving back at Jane until they couldn't see each other anymore.
