I grab my bag and head to the car behind my mom.
"Are you ready for this Tatum?" she asked, looking at me through her side vision.
I nodded, half smiling at her.
We start the car and head out of the aiport parking lot.
As mom drives I turn on the radio and listen to the local pop station.
"That's what makes you beautiful!" comes from the speakers.
I roll my eyes at the overplayed One Direction song. Yes, I'm a fan, but I don't think about them every minute of the day.
Mom slowed down to turn on a street. She gave me the address and told me to look for the new house.
"There it is Mom," I say pointing out the window.
It was a modern three story house, mom told me, and had multiple rooms on each floor.
Mom unlocked the door and we both squeezed through the wooden frame.
I took a look at the main floor.
It had a full bathroom and a half bathroom. I shut the door and walked towards the living room.
The kitchen was just to the right of the dining room, which was connected to the living room.
The living room was bare, our furniture was to arrive later today.
The dining room had a long, wide table with chairs placed all around it.
The kitchen had the normal things, a stove, fridge, things like that.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Mom asks.
I jump at her voice and respond, "I guess."
She smiles. "The whole third floor is all for you. Be careful and be safe."
I nod and make my way to the steps heading towards my desired floor.
The second floor looked fine, but I made my way towards my floor.
Doors were scattered down the hallway.
I opened the first door on my left and saw it was a bathroom.
The next door was on the left and i saw it was a small closet, for coats.
The second to last door was a small room, like a guest room.
As I opened the last door my eyes widened and I sucked in my breath at the beautiful sight before me.
