The next day, Chun Yu woke up with a huge headache, originating from the large red splotch on his forehead.

His head was pounding, and he felt miserable enough to roll around in pain.

DONK!

His head smashed into the tree next to him, and surprisingly, the pain was abated by a little bit instead of becoming worse. Eyes shining, Chun Yu proceeded to crash his head against the nearby trees, which lasted for around half an hour.

Half an hour later, he was laying on the ground, regretting his decisions. Though his head wasn't hurting as much, now his long neck had cramped, and he could do nothing but sit there in even greater pain than before.

As he was in the midst of his suffering, the dot on his forehead started to pulsate, beating in time to his heart. The pulsating got worse and worse, until suddenly, all of his pain went away at once.

Chun Yu felt something stirring inside his consciousness, and closed his eyes, mentally inspecting his body to see if there was anything wrong.

In the black and vast space of his consciousness, a scroll appeared in his mind, emerald green, and seemingly made with jade.

Holy shit! Is this the mysterious fantasy power they have here?! I'm going to learn magic!

It slowly unraveled, showing a large and grand title:

SACRED QI MANA CIRCULATION METHOD

After that, were paragraphs and paragraphs of words, instructing Chun Yu how to properly collect mana and start to use magic. Looking at the words, Chun Yu felt queasy. He never like English, and now he had to read this scroll filled with more words than a dictionary!

However, his curiosity towards magic overpowered his distaste of reading, so his grit his teeth reluctantly and started to read.

The scroll depicted how there were different stages to magic and mages, as well as different talent levels, and specialization. The stages of magic had low, middle, and upper levels to each of them, and were ranked like so:

Mortal (0th circle magic)

Novice (1st circle magic)

Apprentice (2nd circle magic)

Practitioner (3rd circle magic)

Expert (4th circle magic)

Master (5th circle magic)

Grandmaster (6th circle magic)

King (7th circle magic)

Sacred (8th circle magic)

Divine (9th circle magic)

Godly (10th circle magic)

The talent levels were based on the strength of the soul, as well as any weird body types. Unlike magic levels, talent did not have any very defined levels, but they generally went from rock to star talent.

Rock (useless trash)

Stone (trash)

Gem (relatively talented)

Moon (very talented)

Sun (extremely talented)

Stars (Wow!)

As a Sacred beast, he had a sun talent, as well as being able to start directly at practitioner level. He would advance naturally as he grew up, and would be able to take human form at the master level! Although he had only been an animal for one day, he still felt it was unbearable, and wanted his human form back.
