My daughter is mated. Holy fuck my daughter is mated!

I looked over to my wife who was giggling to her self. We are on our way home since our daughter didn't want to come. Which I'm kinda glad for because I do not want to hear my daughter and her mate fulfilling the mating ritual. I shivered at the thought.

"Honey what are you laughing at ?" I asked

"Oh nothing just our daughter" She said

"Don't embarrass the poor girl. Remember how your mom did us? Always asking about grandbabies?" I said

"Oh yeah I remember. It sucks she wasn't here to see Aria be born. Aria would have loved her." She said smiling softly up at me with tears in her eyes.

Macy's mother was absolutely the most sweetest person ever not joking. Macy's dad hated me I used to think he was just a cold bastard but now i realize he was only that way to protect his mate and daughter. You could see it the way he look at Macy's mom just how much he loved her. They both passed away her dad died during an ambush and a month later Macy's mom died of a broken heart. You can't live very long after your mate die's either you commit suicide or die of a broken heart.

"Yeah she would have" I said and grabbed her hand and squeezed it softly and laced me fingers through hers. Loving the way her soft hands felt in my big callused hands. It's always amazed me how i managed to wind up with the most amazing mate and daughter. I mean i wasn't a saint growing up i had a pack at a very young age. Both my parent's were killed by a rouge when i was 16. I had to take over the pack my fathers beta helped me though it. I almost mated with a girl from my pack because i thought i didn't have a mate but a year before i was supposed to mark and mate her. A man and his mate and daughter asked to become apart of my pack because there's was attacked and destroyed. I accepted and gave them a place to live. A month later i finally met their daughter at a pack meeting to fully accept them as pack mates. I smelled and amazing smell it was wild flowers and mango. I looked around till i found it. I felt relived to finally find my other half. One year later after i officially made her my mate and luna we were attacked. I lost many people including her father none of the women or children were killed.

We finally made it back to the pack house all the lights were off. I didn't like that since my daughter is supposed to be here. I grabbed a few things and went for the door it wasn't locked so i went through the house flipping lights on as i went. I went upstairs and put the things in our room not bothering to put anything up. I walked back down to find my wife leaning against the door frame of the kitchen watching Aria and her mate. The house smelled like homemade cooking. Smells just like it use to when i came over to Macy's house trying to convince her father i wasn't just another boy that i truly loved his daughter and would take care of her.

'Yeah yeah I love you dad but food is almost done you have 10 minutes to get whatever you want done then you have to eat i used grandma's recipe book i found it this morning trying to find something to eat for you guy's' Aria linked

'well it smells amazing and I love you to baby girl and no worries I'm starving!' I linked then shut her out

'Lunch will be done in 10 minutes so everyone better be in the dining room by then!' Macy linked everyone in the pack house.
