*Two years later.***
"I see you Julia! You can't hide from me forever!"
I wake up and shudder from my nightmare. I've been having them since my parents got captured and I'm still not used to them. I keep seeing vampires. Ugh those disgusting little creatures. I can't see anything since where I live there aren't any windows, so I switch on the light. My siblings are still sleeping and everything is the way it was. "Thank god!" We were still safe.
Eversince the day me and my siblings found out my parents were caught by vampires, we lived in secret.
After their death, the next day we basically started building an underground shelter from the basement of our house. I dug up the tunnels and built walls. I made sure it was deep underground and hard to detect. After building that basement floor under the basement, I moved everything from the house there.
For food, I usually went out to get food and quickly got what I wanted without being caught through my many disguises.
Eventually, we ended up living this lifestyle for about two years now. It's quite tiring but anything to stay safe and keep my surviving family safe.
I also started training my brother and sister to fight using knives and guns.
I bought knives from stores nearby. I also made them in a certain way where they would curve and extend. SO it was basically a knife in a knife. The knife could extend and get longer once it was inside a surface. I made a few of those.
I also picked up guns while hanging around towns that had shootings. Many vampires dropped their guns while capturing humans. They would put their guns on the floor and tie up the humans but then they'd forget to pick them back up.
I would hang around towns with shootings to watch the vampires fighting techniques. I wanted to pick up weaknesses the vampires held. I would watch them fight and I caught on the fact that vampires usually try avoiding getting hit on their wrists and necks. They shield those areas. I also saw that if there was a female present, then they wouldn't fight her, they would just examine her and somehow compulse her or something.
I figured one day I would kill the vampires attacking our village and hurt them so bad. Like they've been hurting me and my species.
