I had recently bought a new house, my boyfriend and I he was in charge of renovating the whole living space. I however am not much of a handy person, but one thing I did enjoy doing is peeling off wallpaper. The previous house owner had clearly put wallpaper on everything in the living area, the walls even the ceiling! Removing it is a pain in the ass, though I manage. The best part is when you're peeling off a section and get a really long peel , almost similar to peeling off a sunburn. I don't know bout you but I find it oddly satisfying, and I sorta make a game out of it on the hunt for the longest piece at least till it tears. On certain sections of the wall there would be a name, and date on the back of the wallpaper.

Curiosity got the best of me and one night I googled the name on one of the pieces of paper hoping to find some old owners of the house or something. I discovered the person was actually a missing person, the date the person went missing matching the date on the piece of wallpaper. I looked at the rest of the dates looking them up all of them the same as the first. I showed my boyfriend my findings, and he notified police as the previous owner had only moved a state away.

The police showed up with a forensics team who naturally searched the living room. I overheard some of the techs talking to one another "yup its human alright". "Human, whats human?" I asked. "Ma'am where is the material you removed off the walls?" the other tech said to me. I went to my computer desk and grabbed the pieces bringing them to the pieces. "What you were removing wasn't wallpaper its human skin."
