12 - It's Over

We are back to Sam's point of view now too.

Tears threatened to spill as I walked back to my apartment. Come on Sam, don't cry. Big girls don't cry. I give myself a mini pep talk to stop myself from letting any kind of sad emotion out.

I can't believe he would kiss Carly. I thought he loves me. I guess not though and that's just my luck.

I finally get to my place and unlock the door to get in. Once I'm in, I let out the biggest scream of frustration. Where is my baseball bat when I need it?

My phone is buzzing like crazy and each time it's Freddie. I have to ignore him, I can not fall for him anymore. He kissed Carly, I need to get over him now. It's over between us now.

I go to the kitchen and look in the fridge for ham. "Why do we have no ham in this house?" I say quietly. This day isn't working out for me.

There's a loud and fast knock on my door, followed by a female voice that I recognise as Carly. "Sam? Open up!"

She can't possibly think I'm not mad at her too. She was making out with my boyfriend. Well.. ex boyfriend.

"What do you want?" I scream out in anger, grabbing out some left over sausages and slamming them on the table, chipping the plate they're on.

"I'm sorry!" She yells from the other side. "Just let me in!"

I hear a mumbled male voice coming from where Carly is. Even though I can't hear what he says, I can tell it's Freddie.

"Leave! And take your new boyfriend with you! I don't want to see either of you." I hiss.

"Sam! Come on! Let me explain!" Freddie chimes in, his voice frantic and breaking.

I decide to go to the door to open it. Upon seeing Freddies face, my heart shatters. He's upset and obviously angry. I can't give into him though, there is no way.

He goes to speak but I cut him off before he can get a word out. "It's over, Freddie. I can't believe you would do that to me."

Carly also goes to say something but I shoot her a dirty look before continuing. "And you. You know I love him. You know he i- was my boyfriend. Damn it, Shay! Not even four months and you're already causing shit."

Her face falls at that. "Fine. I'll leave you alone."

"Good." Is all I say before the door to her apartment closes. Freddie tries to grab my hand but I push him away. "Can you leave please?"

"No, Sam. You need to hear me out." He tells me, forcing me to pinch the bridge of my nose in anger.

"Freddie! No. It's over between us. I'm not going to listen to your dumb excuses. I saw what you were doing. You need to leave before I snap every bone in your body." I exclaim before slamming the door in his face. I groan in frustration before turning my music on really loud.

The song Young And Beautiful plays and I sing it softly. The chorus comes on and I go to the kitchen to make myself some dinner. Even though I did just eat left over sausages.

My phone buzzes once more. This time I decide to check it, just in case it's someone like Cat or Jade.

I roll my eyes. He was the one that cheated. Not the other way around. I feel like he's just acting like the victim now.

I change his contact name back to Benson, Freddie. If I'm going to try and get over him, I need to erase all kind of affection.

This whole situation is terrible though. I lost my boyfriend, my best friend and now probably the webshow too. I can't go to Freddie's apartment and face the two people that ripped my heart out and stepped on it.

"I can't be bothered cooking. I'll just call Cat and invite her and Jade to Bots." I say to myself, turning down my music and calling my red head friend.

5 rings and she picks up.

"Hey Sam!!" She laughs into the phone. "Jade! It's Sam!"

"Hey Cat and Jade. I was wondering, what are you guys doing like right now?" I ask them.

Cat quickly asks Jade and replies. "Nothing! Why?"

I tell them to meet me at Bots and hang up. Instead of taking my motorcycle, I'll just walk and get some fresh air.

I leave my apartment, check that the two brunettes are gone and set out to Bots.

Although, as I round the first corner in the building, I see Freddie. He's leaning against a wall with tears falling down his cheeks. It's a heart wrenching sight but I can't let that get to me.

It's just my luck that he looks up to me as I try to walk quickly past him. "Sam?"

I shake my head and try to keep walking but he grabs my wrist, pulling me back to him. I glare at him. If looks could kill, he would be in Hell right now, where he belongs.

"Let go of me." I bluntly tell him, yanking my wrist back.

He sighs before talking. "Please Sam. Just hear me out."

"No, Benson. I saw what happened. You and Carly kissed. What is there to hear out? You can have her now. You've lost me. I don't give second chances and you know it." Well said Sam. Thanks inner me.

"I love you." Well that stings. I can't say it back, even though I want to. I just can't.

"Well don't. What we had? It's over now. You can tell Carly that I'm not returning to iCarly. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to Bots to hang with Cat and Jade." I tell him before spinning on my heel and leaving him.

"She didn't say it back..." I hear him mumble. I shake my head. Of course my heart is shattered and i still love him so much but what he did is unforgivable...
