Olivia's POV
Great,I thought another FABULOUS year at highschool. I could tell my sister was already up... I could hear her having a fit to dad because her 'Straightners are broken!! And that's like THE END OF THE WORLD.'
Luckily I am the opposite of my sister, Jessie. While Jessica has long wavey brunette hair, mine is knotted and down to my shoulder. While Jessica has light green eyes that pop whenever you see them, mine are a very light shade of brown. She wears her cheer uniform to school EVERYDAY, when I wear... well. You'll just have to see yourself.
I sat up in my messy double bed. I took a look around my crimson coloured room. (Though you could hardly the the wall because my posters were covering up almost all of it.) There were CD's on the floor and books. ALOT of books. I am quite a messy person.. Hey, that's another thing that me and my sister are opposite at. Jessie is a messfreak. If she even sees a dirty sock on the floor she would probably faint.
Lugged myself off of my bed and took a look at my messy brown maine. I couldn't be bothered to do anything with it so I just left it. I grabbed my worn out boyfriend jeans off the floor. Put on my black doctor martins and a cropped tee then left my room for breakfast.
As always my mother was slaving at the stove, making what smelled like bacon. Jessie was sat at the table complaining to dad about how she had to curl her hair instead. Dad was too busy doing his crossword puzzle to even listen.
'Mom, I told you already! I can't eat bacon.. That's the thing with being a vegetarian you don't eat meat.' I threw myself onto my chair and opened up my book The Bell Jar.
Jessie looked at me oddly like I was an aien from outerspace, 'What's wrong with your hair?? Didn't you even brush it? And if you stuck your nose out of your stupid books maybe you could have time to put on some makeup! Jeez haven't you even seen a mascara brush??'
I looked up at her and then looked down back at my book, 'Look Jessica, I would love to have a little fight with you today. But to be honest, this has happened multiple times now and we all know who is gonna win. I'm gonna skip breakfast.' I got up and went outside.
As I shut the door I heard Jessie groan out, 'I can't believe I'm related to HER.'
I wonder what it's like to be Jessica Allen, have mommy and daddy give you attention every second of everyday. Have boys notice when she's not there. And at football games have the whole crowd only there to see your cheerleading piece instead of the game. It's stupid how much power she has been given despite the fact of her tiny little brain.
I sighed and just tried to forget I was related to such a sellout. Took out my headphones and iPod What to listen to... Got it Radiohead. I sat down on the porch waiting for my ride to arrive. About ten minutes later I saw a pair of legs right infront of me, I looked up and saw my sisters chirpy boyfriend, Derek, and his friends infront of me.
'Hey Olivia, your sister in?' Derek asked.
I put my headphones around my neck and answered 'Where else would she be?'
Derek's friend behind him chuckled, I think he was called Mathew 'I still don't get how you're related to such a hottie.'
'I'm still baffled to the idea as well. You can go now.' I replied in a monotone voice.
'We have to wait. You know how Jessie can be.' Derek smiled putting his hands in his letterman jacket.
If Derek did that infront of half the girls in my school their ovaries would explode. It's stupid how they're like his little fans or something. He has a weirdly light shade of blue eyes and blonde hair gelled up into a quif. He's greasy if you ask me. His skintone is very very pale. And another thing that makes the girls go wild is his dimples. They're creepy.
His friend Matt was the most disgusting human I have ever layed my eyes apon. He is tanned way too much, it almost looks fake if you ask me. He has black swoopy hair that just droops down whatever way he tries and he always ALWAYS has to wear his letterman jacket. It's stupid how the guys worship those ten dollar things. It's like why are they even proud to be part of the team? They SUCK.
'What you listenin' to Courtney Love?' Matt smirked.
'I'm surprised you even know who that is seeming that the only artists you know are sexist rappers and singers.' I layed back on the grass.
A red pickup truck zoomed to my lawn almost hitting the black range rover there. Nirvana was roaring from the car.
Inside sat my friends Blaze and Micheal. 'Well I'd love to stay and humiliate you guys but my ride is here. Nice talking to you.' I stood up and walked to the car. Just as I got in my sister came out.
'Jesus christ your sister is so hot.' Micheal laughed.
'Shut the fuck up asshole' Blaze hit him on the shoulder. They had been dating for three months so far since Micheal transferred.
I looked back at my sister busy getting a tongue bath from Derek, 'I don't get it. She's completely fake yet the guys love her.'
'That's why the guys love her. They like girls that completely alter there personalities for them.' Micheal yawned, 'Now lets get this senior year over with.' he put his foot on the pedal and we drived away.
Blaze had bright red ginger hair and had a fringe. She usually put her hair up to show off her pale skin. She usually wore some sort of band tee-shirt. Today she chose to wear a Mudhoney shirt.
Micheal had bleached blonde hair with crappily dyed green in it. He was also very pale and he was wearing a black tank top. I used to have a giant crush on him but when Blaze started dating him I realised they were way cooler together.
We had other friends including, our weed dealer friend Mariana. And our gay friend Marcus.
I could sense this was going to be a bad year when we pulled up to the school and the main banner said 'Congrats Jessie Allen. Our new head cheerleader!' written in blue and white paint.
'Does anybody have a bucket I can vomit in?' Blaze laughed.
We jumped out of the car and Mariana and Marcus walked up to us three.
'Did you hear?' Marcus smiled.
'What?' I asked.
'New kid is joining our tutor and I heard he is REALLY cute.' Mariana smirked.
'Well he's all yours' Blaze smiled as she gave Micheal a kiss.
'Boys are idiots and overrated.' I rolled my eyes.
'I guess he' all mine then!' laughed Marcus. There was only about three openly gay guys in our school. It's a very christian school basically. So I don't blame Marcus hoping for some new fresh meat.
I looked up at the grey dull building and piped out, 'I'm gonna head to english. See you assholes later.' I put in my headphones and started walking through the carpark.
About five minutes later I heard a loud beep and saw a black range rover heading straight for me.
