Chapter 4

Olivia's POV

 I walked around watching everybody like it was in slow motion. Oh look, Angela Deli and Nicolas Braun heading for the bedrooms.. Ellie Daniels and Joshua Lee making out.. Joshua has a girlfriend.. It was like I was watching some form of soap opera. Everything happens at these stupid popular parties.. 

 Man the music was shit. The D-J looked about thirty and only played music from this year. So mainstream.

 I remember.. My ex-boyfriend, Max, used to throw the most awesome parties. College parties are way better than the one I went to. 

 It seemed like everybody's hands were superglued to a red solo cup. I have a bad habbit of smoking but I never really liked drinking. It just makes you share all your emotions, and I have a lot. 

 My sister again was the opposite of me, 'Man I'd kill for a beer!' Jessie expressed. 

 I turned to her and Derek, 'You drink?' I questioned. 

 'Well yeah! You don't?' She replied to me in a odd way. 

 I shook my head and Mathew spoke up, 'Wait? You've never drank?' 

 I laughed, 'Of corse I've been drunk.. I just didn't like it. I mean, it's like anything can happen. You could be really stupid and be arrested or admit your feelings to a complete stranger.' 

 'I thought you did weed?' Derek pondered.

 I giggled into my palm, 'Not for me either..' I shivered. And a very small girl stood infront of us.. I think her name was Mindy or something. 

 She gave Jessie, Derek and Mathew a huge smile. When she looked at me she frowned, 'Who're you?' she raised her brow. 

 I looked at her and replied with, 'Who're you?' 

 'I asked first.' 

 'I asked second.' 

 She girl huffed and replied proudly, 'My name is Mindy Bolton! Duh! And you are??' She asked once again. 

 'Olivia Allen?' I crossed my arms. 

 'OLIVIA ALLEN??' She laughed and looked at Mathew, 'You brought Olivia Allen as your date?'

 'What's wrong with that?' Mathew awkwardly said. 

 I interupted him with, 'We're not on a date.. I'm gonna go get some water.'

 Derek stepped next to me, 'Ditto, hey babe you want anything?' He turned to Jessie. 

 Jessie smiled at him, 'Just some beer please!' 

 Derek nodded and we set off. I heard Mindy say something like 'Omigosh Thank God!' when I walked away. 

 I turned to Derek, 'Why does she hate me again?' I blew a strand of hair out of my eye that kept on finding it's way back. 

 'Mathew's ex. Want's him back.' 

 'Well she can have him back.' I laughed. 

 'He really likes you.' Derek smiled at me. 

 'Well he was an ass.' 

 'Give him a change.' He hit my arm with his. 

 I shook my head. A couple minutes later I spoke up, 'Do you think there is actually a refreshment table here?' 

 'There's always one at a drinking party.' 

 'Do you think they have water?' 

 'I guess. But drinking and water normally don't mix.'
